I don't know if you, reader, have every been pregnant but during those last few months it is awfully difficult to find clothing (let alone lingerie) that makes you feel confident, sexy and seductive. I felt all three of those and more when I put this piece from Leg Avenue on. My big ole pregnant belly looks pretty darn amazing in it and my fiance couldn't be more pleased by that fact!




The padded underwire chemise set from Leg Avenue is a polyester chemise with a black micromesh bottom and a gorgeous red with black threading and sequined padded bust (sure to give even the bigger busted women some support. The band around the bust is NOT stretchy and laid flat measures approximately 18.5 inches across (on the largest setting for the hook and eye.



The skirt of the chemise hangs down approximately 24 inches.



The back of the chemise has a keyhole under the 3 rows of eyes (Please ignore my blue granny panties. A pregnant woman needs her comfy panties!)



As you can see from the following side view, there is PLENTY of room for curvier women. It flows nicely over my baby belly and, in my opinion, even slims me down a touch.





This chemise appears to be great quality. Unless you have a kitten like mine who found it in the closet and put runs through the silky micromesh that is! I have worn it 4 or 5 times and washed it every time BY HAND because I didn't want to risk damaging the beauty of it. I, then, laid it flat on a towel to dry.

If you do want to wash it in a washing machine (even though I highly suggest hand washing), wash using a delicate cycle, either cold or warm water (NEVER HOT) and lay out to dry.

**This piece also comes with a black mesh g-string which, like many before it, have become great cat toys!**

Besides my kitten making some runs in the bottom of the chemise, this has held up surprisingly well. My husband even threw it in the wash on accident one day (NOT on a delicate cycle) and it came out in one piece! It makes regular appearances in our bedroom.
