This corset is super cute! It is a bit lower in the back than it is in the front. It has pretty padded (though I have big boobs so I could have done without having the padded part) cups in a red color which contrasts with the main color of the black bodice. There is a lovely red bow in front with woven ribbon through lace detailing lining the upper edge of the cups.

The boning is a bit more flimsy than I would like but is still fine. I prefer steel or a material which is much more sturdy and holds you in better. The boning is covered in red to match with the contrasting cups.

The back has a strip of hook and eyes with which to enter and exit the corset. I would like it better if it had a lace up instead as it is hard to hook and eye yourself up if you want to surprise someone with it. It also caves in on itself a bit at the back probably because all of the hooks and eyes are in a straight line but a woman’s body is not in a straight line. Every woman’s body curves in different spots. If you are very thin, this is great for you. If you want something more slimming, keep looking.

I also like the bit of ruffle detailing at the bottom; it adds a bit of whimsical to the corset. I also love that it has loops to attach a garter too. I love garters, and it makes it easier to keep your tights up and your corset down!

Overall, I would say that this is very cute for those who are not too curvy, and it is a great purchase particularly if you are a fan of black and red.

Corsets work best with a lace-up back! It makes it easier to do up on your own.
