Sexy and simple with out effort.
I am very excited to review French Maid costume by Lelo. I am an enthusiastic fan of Lelo products. There are several things that caught my attention when I decided to review this outfit and yes brand was one of them. Lelo products are elegantly designed and made of some of the highest grade and safest materials the market has to offer. This costume is no exception. It caters sizes big to small. This garment may take extra care.

When purchasing lingerie sizing is the most important thing I look for . I do not buy a lot of lingerie because of my size. I am very petite and the average woman size in the US “is bigger tits than me” ( the average bust size of a woman in USA is a 36 DD). It was nice to find a soft cup bra lingerie set that came in petite sizes. French Maid by Lelo comes in XSM, S, M, L and XL. Knowing this set is primarily made of silk, a natural product, I knew it would have some stretch and purchased the XSM.

My measurements:
Bust: 32

It fit comfortably with adjustment and there was no excess of material on any part of my body(which is awesome!). It does stretch but not a great deal. This garment is primary silk giving it some elasticity but requiring more care.
There are three tags found in both the bra and panties with care instructions in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese, manufacturing origin and brand name.
When the product arrived each major part of the out fit (bra, panties and apron) were in a white fold down glossy envelope. The Envelope was fastened by black ribbon and a silver Lelo charm. The weight of the charm pulls the ribbon down and keeps the envelope closed. Inside each garment is a breathable plastic bag. The items were tagged by heavy metal clasp, string and Branded tags. The envelope can be reused.
Let's take this outfit apart
Bra- It is not a support bra but its very comfortable and works for me since I don't need extra support. I haven't noticed any riding with movement. It is adjustable. Unlike a cheaper lingerie sets this isn't a flimsy bikini top or training bra type garment. It built more like a bra with soft cups, three adjustable hooks on the back and a strong elastic band. This isn't a one hit wonder bra, that can only be worn in the bedroom and it will last for some time. This is 100% silk
Panties- The fit is wonderful and doesn’t ride into areas it doesn’t belong. The stitching is seamless, invisible and strong. The ruffle dips down in a low V on the middle of the bum and lays down and slightly away from the from the actual panty. It rides low on the hip and has four non removable garters. The garters can be adjusted and have a small snip-it of white satin ribbon to cover the clasp. The clasps are the simple rubber push and slide variety. They stitched on well and will not break through “normal” use. There is a cotton inlay in the crotch for added protection and durablity.
Apron
Is some what transparent and is very fine. It will lay along and move with body. The band is about sixty inches in length and made of satin. There are two tags on the inside and are sewn into the band so it flush with the garment. A shadow can be seen through the white apron but it is not distracting or painfully visible. There is a slight ruffle away from the black outline of the apron but it doesn’t interfere with how the apron lays.
Over all- The caviar dye is even and consistent (not all silks are so nice). It fits comfortably, doesn't ride as I move around. It is made of fine materials but is durable. The stitching is professional and neatly done.

Experience
Fabrics:
Chiffon- Is type of weave that makes a garment feel light and gauzy. The maid's apron and the fine ruffle is likely the part made silk chiffon. Chiffon typically is a little rough and this does have some “texture to it” but this since this item is made with silk and not polyester it very soft and very breathable.
Silk- The almost entire reason I bought this outfit. I've seen a lot of comments with people asking about price and this is where is most of the cost comes from. In my opinion this item is fairly priced.. Just like cotton there are varying levels of silk. I believe this is a medium grade silk, very soft. Silk has a fine luster to it, it sines with out being clearly reflective, instead it has a sort of dull luster to it. This is a rather nice silk and has wonderful gleam to it.
Satin- The satin is found in the garter, over the clips and the tie of the apron. I love the extra protection and the cover to the clips. The satin has a slightly glossier look then the silk but matches very well regardless. Satin is very strong and this will make sure the garment lasts a long wile even with you tugging on the straps and tying it in knots.
Washing this item.
By all means you can put this garment in a small bag, throw it in your washing machine on cold and wash it. Take it out and throw it over a bar in your laundry room to dry and it will be just fine.
However if your a little OCD about silk here is your care guide
To keep your garment as lovely as ever, never wash it in a machine. Wash this by hand with out rough scrub brushes, use your fingers instead. Water temperature should be as cold as you can get it. Use very mild soaps with out dyes, perfumes or harsh chemicals. I use Dr. Bonner's Baby Soap (this will also help the silk keep its natural oils) Rinse all residue in cold water. Add a few drops of hair conditioner to the rinse water to keep the silk soft and flexible. Fold in a towel and gently squeeze dry. Hang garments in a dry area out of sunlight. Do not iron

Thanks for a GREAT review. I'm not sure if I can bring myself to spend this much for even as lovely a set as this, but at least I know what I'd be getting if I did.
