The Bra and G-String with Rhinestones by Coquette consists of simply that: a bra and g-string. However simple, this set is stunning and definitely packs the jaw dropping wow factor. As everything I have sampled by Coquette, this set provides quality lingerie with a bargain price.


The underwire bra is made of black satin and features what is listed in the description as a demi cup, but that I feel is more of a shelf bra. I can see how it might fit some as a demi bra, though. Personally, I find it hot as hell. There is a back hook and eye closure, as well as a functional front clasp with rhinestone detail. The bra is slightly padded to give a little extra lift and fullness. There are black satin ruffles that trim the cups.


I have worn this bra under clothing for a naughty little surprise for my husband's wandering hands, and depending on what you're wearing the ruffles aren't really noticeable (though they would be with something thin, of course). I tend to only wear it under clothing when I'm just spending the day at home though. The bra has quite a bit of stretch to it, and it's very comfortable to me. If it had full cups I would have no problem wearing it under clothes all the time. My measurements are 44" around the largest part of my bust, and 38" bra band. The L bra states it will work for a 38-40" band, and I feel that to be spot on.


While there is not much stretch to the bottoms at all, the black satin g-string is really beautiful. There is a ruffle on the top of the front, to match the bra. There are two velvety straps with rhinestone details that can draw delicious attention to your hips. They meet in the back with a satin bow. I'm not much for bows on my lingerie, but I do like this one. It's like you're a gift, topped off with a perfectly placed bow. It's your lovers choice to carefully unwrap, or to quickly tear in!


This set is only available at EF currently in S, M, and L. I received the L for review, knowing that most likely only the bra would fit me and the g-string would not. I was right. I think that sizing is right on for the bra, but feel that Coquette's bottom sizing runs small. I have an ample bottom half though...a 36" waist, and 44" hips. I knew going in with this set, that a L bottom is supposed to fit a 40-42" hip and it would likely not fit me at all. I have started to think about taking apart all the bottoms that don't fit me and making new straps so that they would, haha.


This set should be hand washed and laid out to dry. I feel comfortable putting the bra in the washing machine on a delicate cycle. While I am unable to wear the g-string, if I could I would not put it in the washing machine or the dryer, I'd worry about the velvety material and the rhinestones.

This still isn't my absolute favorite bra to wear, but I (and my husband, haha) do like it! It's so very pretty.
