Satin Dreams
This kimono (or robe) is very comfortable for night time wear. The arms are disturbingly huge but other than that, this is a real treasured piece.

Pros
Nice coverage, comfortable, well made, easy to care for
Cons
I don’t like the flow-y arms
Satin is one of my favorite materials for sleep time wear so I knew I was going to pick this up eventually. I also love animal print so this was just a given, although you can get it in pink as well.
This is made of polyester so don’t iron it, this doesn’t wrinkle anyway. It’s not sheer but it’s pretty thin so don’t let the cat’s claws get at it.
Kimonos are basically short robes although this has two sets of ties. There are ties on the inside to keep the flap in front from opening all the way, then there is a waist tie which fits through two belt loops on either side and this piece is completely separate. Since this has ties instead of another type of clasp, it’s highly adjustable, making it a one size fits most item although those who wear an XXL may not fit this.
I wear a size 4 so those larger than me or smaller than me will fit this. I’m 5/1 and it ends a few inches above my knees, which will probably going to end up on mid thigh for most women. There is no bust support but with the ties all done up, it forms a nice V-neck so this will provide really good coverage in case you live with others.
This is described as long sleeved, but the sleeves end between my wrist and elbow. The arms are really huge, making it look really baggy. They are 12” long and 8” across. I find it to be too baggy but it’s great for those who like a lot of breathing room.
I just machine wash this with all my other items and it’s holding up quite well. There are no hanging straps but I just keep this in my pajama drawer.
