Ruffles and bows, oh my!
This corset by Coquette is great for someone who wants a corset for a special event or to wear occasionally in the bedroom. It won't hold up to heavy wear, in my opinion, but for the price is a good special occasion piece.

Pros
Pretty, fits well
Cons
Flimsy garters, boning isn't the most supportive
This corset is made from Coquette, and came wrapped in tissue paper in a box.
The corset was folded nicely and had a plastic bag pinned to it which contained the garter belts and removable shoulder straps for the corset. The corset is made of black and tan polyester and has plastic boning sewn into the sides for added support and shape. The pattern is black with tan lace over it. The corset is strapless but comes with two shoulder straps which are removable. The corset also has four garter attachments on the bottom for thigh high stockings. There's also two black bows on the front which are pinned on and easily removable if you aren't interested in them.
This corset is a good deal for what I paid for it. The boning is somewhat easily warped, it's not going to give you an Edwardian hourglass shape like a steel boned corset would, but there's definitely some shaping going on with the plastic boning. The corset has a semi-padded bust, which provides support for larger chests. I wear a 40D and without the shoulder straps, the corset looks a little shapeless on me. I like how it looks with the straps attached, but those with a smaller bust might find it fine. I apologize for the quality of this photo, but this is what it looks like on me. I'm a size 16/40 D bra size:
The back closes with a hook and eye closure. It's hard to get on by yourself, but I hooked it in the front and slid it around my torso until it fit correctly, which worked. I was in between sizes according to Coquette's size charts for this product and went for the larger size. The product has two rows of hooks, so it's somewhat adjustable, which was nice. I hooked it on the tighter setting and it fits well that way.
The only disappointment with this product is that the clips on the garters are very confusing and flimsy-- one already broke on me, in fact. I am not sure where to buy a replacement clip, but I am hoping I can find another garter strap as I'd like to wear this with stockings. I wouldn't suggest you wear this daily, but for a couple of hours the shape of the corset will hold up nicely and look pretty at the same time.

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
After two more wears, one of the eye hooks has fallen off. That's the only thing that's worn out on this corset. The boning and design have still held up after some extended wear. This is great for such an inexpensive piece.
