Lingerie is ALWAYS worth it! This is very cutesy lingerie that is also simple. Unlike some lingerie (corsets), this is a very straightforward piece- easy to put on and easy to take off. A great addition to any lingerie wardrobe for a night that you want to dress up in a feminine look for your partner without having to put on a complicated piece.

I was worried because for bottoms I need a medium, but I am very busty and take a large on top....so when I have to pick one size to fit both I get nervous- do I make the bra a perfect fit and have droopy bottoms, or do I have a too small bra and perfect fit on bottom!? However, the top ended up being a perfect fit for my C cup and the bottoms also fit perfectly. The material is a nice nylon mesh with a touch of spandex in it which gives it a bit of stretch. The straps are adjustable and you have several options as to where to hook it in back.
The black strip on the bottoms that everyone was concerned about actually looks completely fine. It matches the look very well. However, the bow on bottom is much bigger than I thought it would be. It is very distracting and makes the bottoms look a little ridiculous.
Another issue I had with this is the ruffles. The ruffles look absolutely wonderful on the model, however, even if stored correctly, the ruffles tend to go askew. Whenever I wear this I seem to have one side where the pleats are sticking out straight, which makes the whole thing look off.
A reminder as it is not shown in the picture- the top is see through. Personally I love this, but if you are looking for an opaque bra/lingerie combination, this is not the look for you.
The back of the bottoms are my favorite part! It is a fairly thick back of a thong, but you cannot see the strap once on so the ruffles really become the main focus in the back. The ruffles in back cover half of your butt, which gives the illusion of more curves. This is great for all those girls with flat backsides! However, if you do have hips or a butt you are trying to hide, this may not be the lingerie set for you.
Also, this is not lingerie you could wear under anything. With all the ruffles and bows it would not fit under clothing.

I still enjoy this lingerie. The fit is still nice, and even after months of owning it, it is still in good condition! The ruffles continue to be skewed, even when stored correctly. This is a fun piece and I still would recommend it to anyone who enjoys wearing fun lingerie in the bedroom!

I like that you explained the design. I wouldn't have thought this was opaque!
I just have a few questions:
I am confused, did you end up purchasing a medium or large? You would say the panties run smaller than the size chart then, right? If so, this set will fail me lol- I am bigger on bottom than top. A little more sizing info would have been great.
Were the materials soft? How do you care for them?
Did this come in tissue paper, or a box, or plastic bag, hanger??
And I almost agree- lingerie is worth it when it fits and is made well!!

The materials are actually a little rough.
It came in a much bigger box than needed for such a small product and tissue paper!
