Roped Chemise
This dress is very durable and can handle an entire days worth of lounging around. It is comfortable enough to sleep in, sexy, and is made well. I think the price is not too high either. My only complain is that the cords can get in the way when you want to start fooling around.

It's that time of year again. My birthday is approaching, so I again chose something for my girlfriend to wear on that day...or any day she feels like wearing it. She has a corset in a similar design and I loved seeing her light up with confidence when she put it on. Nothing better than giving your girl confidence right? I'd rather have a girl wear something they feel great in than something more revealing, less their style, whatever, and have to listen to even the slightest complaint. I'd say I picked a good once since I did hear a peep of negativity out of her.
It is a chemise, but I'd call it a short dress for the bedroom only. I guess you could wear this out if you wanted to commando, but it might be a little too short for that anyways. It might be good for a fetish type party where you want to look sexy but don't want to show everything. Not only did I want to get something my partner would wear around the house for me, play video games in, cook in, etc. I also wanted it to be something she would sleep in too. Thanks to the comfort of this chemise, she did all of those things.
Because the corset she has that looks like this is made of power-netting, we got a large since she thought it would be just as tight. Turns out this is just regular netting and stretches a lot. It is more see through looking than it is on the model in the picture. It is also a lot more soft than power-netting and breathes well. The tag says this is made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex. Even the solid parts stretch well. The only part that doesn't is the chest. The lightly padded cups are pre-shaped. Even the cords, or ropes as I like to call them, stretch. Straps too.
So how does it look? Pretty damn awesome. The underwire cups push boobs up a bit and I really like the striped sides. It accents the waist and also makes the hips stand out more in contrast, enhances an hour glass. This might be a bad thing for you if you hate your hips. If you are self conscious about you stomach, back, or butt, the solid panel covers that. I like that it shows a lot of skin, but doesn't give it all away, and it shows skin in spots lingerie doesn't often show. It also given the dress more shape so it isn't straight down. I hate when her shape is lost underneath a dress that doesn't hug her well.
So how did she like it and how did it fit?...

Experience
Again, we got the large, but she could have gotten away with a medium. Maybe. She is a size 8 in most jeans and dresses. The large is supposed to fit a 12-14 dress size, so I'd say this runs tight. It was tighter around her rib cage than anywhere else and she had extra room in her hips which are about 38". That part does match the chart since it should fit a few more inches than that. She has size D boobs and the size "C" cups worked well. If you are smaller, the pre-set cups might not lay against your chest as well. If you are even smaller, this is probably not the best dress for you. This is also true for the tall women. My girl is 5'6" and this was a good height for her. It fell a few inches below her butt.
I arrived on a hanger and in a plastic bag. There was an attached tag that can be removed since it is pinned on. The tag says it is hand wash only and hung to dry. She has not had to wash it yet.
I am happy with this choice. It is well made, can withstand an entire day of wearing, and makes my girlfriend feel sexy. My only complaint is that the cords get in the way once we decided to fool around. I usually go for her nipples first and didn't want to take this off to do that. I eventually got fed up with the cords and removed the whole dress.

I really like when my partner wears this, but it isn't unique enough that she likes to wear it a lot. It has not ripped or snagged and has been fine through the washer.
