Retro Curve Enhancer
This Polka Dot Mesh Chemise is very flattering and super comfortable! I love the see though polka dot sides, and solid center panel. What I love more is the ruffled butt! I wish the cups wear taller and not so short, but I love the rest of this piece to com[plain too much about it.

Pros
Flattering, Retro look, Comfortable, Polka dots, Ruffles on butt
Cons
Runs a little small, Short cups
When I saw this Polka Dot Mesh Chemise from Coquette, I couldn't wait any longer for Eden to carry it. It had been at least a year since its release. I opted to get it on eBay and ended up paying a little less than it is here, but I only could get the large. I'm glad I did because this chemise runs smaller than other Coquette chemises and a medium wouldn't of held my breasts at all. It's very sexy, accentuates the waist, vavooms the hips, and add bulk to the butt. It's very stretchy, but the sizing chart should be paid attention to for the hips are chest.
*Contents/overview: One piece chemise
The Polka Dot Mesh Chemise comes by itself with no matching thong. This makes sense since the sides are see though and a thong would be seen. The cups have padding and underwire. It has a polka dot pattern and is only available on Eden in one color, black, although I think I have seen it elsewhere in violet. It is available in S, M, L.
*Material: Excellent, high quality
The chemise is made of 82% nylon and 18% spandex, exclusive of the trim. The trim includes velvet detailing, satin bows, mesh ruffles, metal underwire, and cup padding. The center panel and sides are stretchy, the sides more so. The bottom band is made of the same material as the center panel, a kind of satin feeling nylon material. It doesn't stretch as much. The mesh has a raised polka dot pattern that is textured as velvet. The sides are see through, but the center panel isn't.
The cups have a very slight padding, about 1/8". The ruffled trim is made of an even finer mesh than the side panels of the torso. It appears on the butt and the top of the cups. All of the material feel of high quality and seem like they will hold up well over time and through washing.
*Design/craftsmanship: Great
This chemise has a somewhat retro look to it which I love. The bottom is slightly bigger than the waist so it will compliment an hour glass and is less likely to bunch or pull if you don't have that shape. the center panel is large and will cover any imperfections you want. It will also slim you by creating a darker area that the eye will gravitate to. The mesh sides are see through, but are dark and will also help hide imperfections like cellulite if you need it to. The bottom has a band that will help keep this down and not help it ride up on you.
The cups have underwire and are molded. The padding in them is thin and won't look good if the cups are not properly filled. They are sort of short compared to my bras, even my bras that are size C are larger than the cups on these. The straps are like a normal bra and adjust accordingly in the same way. in between the cups is a large black satin bow. The cups also have a few layers of ruffles at the top of them.
The back lies across the back like a regular tank top. It has the same center panel as the front and will hide the naughty bits the same way the front does. The back has eight layers of ruffles on the butt. They don't cover the entire butt, but instead cover the center panel. It's cute and girly while adding bulk to your ass. This may or my not be a good thing.
It is nicely sewn all around. A tag is in the top center of the back, like on a shirt.
*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash
Since I got this on eBay, it didn't come with a hanger. The tag says that it should be hand washed. From my past experience, I have been in able to wash similar outfits in the washer on a cold short cycle in a lingerie bag. Hang to dry. Don't ever expose this to heat or an iron. It can easily be hung on a hanger or folded and placed in a drawer.
Made in China.

Experience
*Sizing/fit: Runs a little small, especially in chest/hips
I am now wearing a medium in most Coquette chemises, but some of them are too short on me, so I go up to a large at times. The cups can sometimes be an issue for me as well. For this, I only had the option of getting a large. I was expecting it to be a little big, but I was glad that I did get the large when I discovered that this one runs a little small. The biggest problem is the bust.
The large is supposed to fit a 12-14 dress size, C cup, 38-40" band, 30-32" waist, and 40-42" hips. I weigh ~142 pounds (size ~8); curvy but fit, with size 34/36 D breasts. My waist is about 30" and hips 38". I love how this fits everywhere but the chest. That area runs small. I excepted it to be a little small since this is supposed to fit a C cup, but the cups are just short in general. If I place my breasts where they should be and are most comfortable to produce more cleavage, my nipples start to creep out. The hips and waist fit well, but that means that the rest of this runs small as well. It isn't lose anywhere. It will fit a little larger than me, but after that, it will start to pull to accommodate a larger frame. A size 10 will look equally great in this, a size 12 might be pushing it depending on your dimensions. Because my waist fits the chart, a size 6 might find this too loose unless they are thicker in the waist proportionally.
My Re-done chart: For the large - runs small
Dress: 8-10 (possibly 12)
Cup: large B-C
Band: 34-36"
Waist: 29-31"
Hips: 36-39"
*Possible accessories:
This piece looks great just by itself!
*Conclusion: 4 stars ****
because of the cups, this is getting 4 stars. I'd give it 4.5 if I could. It is extremely comfortable, flatters hour glass shapes, adds ommph to the ass, and it retro looking. What else could you ask for?

Even though this chemise has flaws, it is still one of my favorites! It's so cute a retro. What's not to love? It has held up well even though I have worn it a lot. I hope they make this in other colors!
