Remember Scarlett O'Hara....Tighter!!
The Satin Garter Waist Cincher is made of quality materials, has metal boning and is a perfect accessory to other lingerie pieces. It will show your lower tummy, so those with some flaws in that area will want to wear this as an accessory, not as a solo garment. I love pairing this with a bodystocking or fishnet dress to hide my flaws and add more curves for my husband's enjoyment.

The Satin Waist Cincher by Leg Avenue arrives in a clear plastic bag. The quality is immediately apparent as soon as you remove it from the packaging. The exterior is made of thick, glossy satin material that is well sewn, has finished edges and is smooth with well sewn seams. There were no loose threads and the top and bottom is edged evenly on the top and bottom with a matching satin binding. The interior material is a soft, breathable felt that is comfortable against the skin and absorbs moisture without causing irritation to your skin.
The garters are not removable and are the only downfall, in my opinion. They are 3/4" wide and are made of elastic. They have silver fold over adjusters and metal attachments which has a plastic slip in button and flap for holding your stockings. Honestly, I might remove them if I can figure out how without destroying the seam integrity of the cincher.
You need to loosely lace up the cincher, keeping the inside loose enough to get over your hips and then tighten the laces after you get it in place. This works best with a partner but is possible alone--just have a lot of patience and a good mirror. I have the tie at the top so that I can really cinch the waist in and make it hold.
The boning is metal, but is a bit flexible. Not as much as plastic by any means, but it does bend with your shape. The plus side of the metal boning is the ability to bend it back to flat after you remove the garment. I love this boning and wish all corsets came with this feature.
There is a huge, removable bow safety pinned to the side of the corset. If you wear this under outer garments, you will want to remove it to prevent a bulge under your clothes. However, it does fit over the stomach area to hide any remaining bulges for wearing this in the bedroom for your partner.
The material is 100% polyester. This corset is hand wash only and line dry. Do not toss it in the wash machine or dryer, it will ruin the satin finish. I have not had a problem with wrinkling, however if I did, I would run a warm iron over the corset. Have a clean towel or cloth between the iron and the satin material, however, to prevent melting or burning the material.
I can get my 29-30" waist down to 28" with the proper cinching. This helps smooth out the lines on some of my form fitting outfits and adds more curves as well. With the removal of the garters, this would be very appropriate to wear over shirts and dresses for a renaissance or belted look.

This cincher has become my absolute favorite accessory!! I love wearing this with a simple shirt, my sexy lingerie dresses (in the bedroom, of course), and this goes amazingly well with broomstick skirts!! It takes the pouf out of the waist of the skirt and streamlines your figure. Every woman should have one of these!!
