Red Hot!

Pros
Silky, very sexy, nice shade of red
Cons
Could be too short for some people, fabric seems a little flimsy
The Barely There Slip is a classic slip, smooth and sexy with a nice slit at one leg and pretty lace at the bottom and around the bust. The bustline is slightly gathered into a very sexy V-neck with a small bow at the center of the V and the straps are adjustable like a bra strap. On me, the bottom hem hits my upper thigh, just barely covering my butt. I am about 5'6" so ladies with long torsos may have issues with the length.
Sizing
The Barely There slip in red was my first online lingerie purchase, and I was pretty nervous about the sizing. I ordered mine in a large and it fits very well, if a little skin-tight. I usually wear around a size 12 in jeans and a 36DD bra, and I weigh around 170lbs. I think the large would fit anyone in the 8-12 size range pretty well, but it may be a little too skintight to be comfortable on anyone wearing a larger size. The included g-string fits very well, which was a pleasant surprise. Unlike most g-strings it doesn't make an indent in my hips, so it keeps the slip looking fairly smooth over the panties. The only problem I have with the panties is very easily fixed, the tag is sewn into the front panel and it is a little irritating. However it is very easy to cut out.
Quality
I was very pleased with the overall quality of this slip. It is comfortable, with no itchy seams, and it is put together very well. I haven't noticed any bad stitching or weak spots. My only small complaint is the material itself, it feels like it will get pulls and runs very easily. I have been careful with it to prevent this, but I know that I am one snagged fingernail away from pulling a big nasty run in the fabric. Other than that one fault, the fabric is very smooth and silky in feel and appearance.
Care
I would recommend washing the slip by hand with a mild lingerie soap, or at least putting it in a lingerie bag and washing on a gentle cycle. I would also recommend hanging it to dry or putting it on the lightest, coolest setting of the dryer. I have only washed it by itself, so I am not sure if the color bleeds, but I am always extra careful with red clothes. I've had too many loads of clothes come out pink in the past, so I only wash reds with reds. It comes in a plastic bag on a hanger, and I store it on a hanger in my closet. It gets a little wrinkly if it is folded up.

Thanks for so much info on the fit! That's super helpful This looks pretty sexy! If red was a flattering color on me, I'd be wanting this. I have a very similar dress/slip in black and it sounds like the same material. It feels like it would run easily, but mine never did. The material is so comfortable! Great review. I enjoyed reading it.
