Design:
Designed as a sundress made ultra sexy, I thought it would be fun and comfortable to wear for sexy evenings. The top is shaped like a sports bra, but offers no bust support. The semi-sheer lace has a colored floral pattern that can strategically hide your nipples if they are in the right area, however as soon as you move around...you may have a nip slip! It is joined to the skirt in the front, behind the lace bra band.
The skirt drapes off the front to a low back and is edged with lace. The lace used for the straps, bra band and lower back edging is ivory with a shiny white accent. The skirt is opaque and not very see through. I would say if the light is behind you and it is fairly tight--you may be providing an accidental peek show for your partner.
Made for the bedroom, you could wear this in public if you add an appropriate strapless or white sport-type bra.
Quality:
There are quite a few loose threads in the lace areas. I had to snip them off and ended up with a slight unravel in the 'v' between my breasts. I did fix it with clear nail polish and a cute charm pin until I was able to sew a stopper in the seam.
The lace is finished, which prevents fraying and unraveling. The skirt has an even, double hem. The floral print on the lace has not faded or washed off. It is dyed into the lace, not sewn in, so some fading over time is to be expected. I have washed the garment about 5 times and have had no fading of either material.
In my opinion, the quality matches the price. The seams are decent, the hem is even and straight and the material used is of acceptable quality for the type of garment. An average person should get a good amount of wear out of the chemise before it starts to look shabby or wear out. The damage factor depends on how you care for the chemise.
Material:
Made of 82% Nylon and 18% Spandex, this chemise has plenty of stretch and give. It does spring back into shape upon washing and is virtually wrinkle proof. You can snag the lace on a damaged fingernail, but I would have to say it is not going to be a regular occurrence. The skirt material is pretty bulletproof, even though it does show every curve, lump ad bum you may have!
It is not scratchy and is very comfortable to wear. The material on the bodice is cool and breathes very well. The skirt, however can get a bit warm and sticky when you sit down for an extended period of time. You can leave this on during sexual activity--everything is easy to access.
Fit:
It fits like a glove, snug but not tight. The top fits my breast size very well and will adapt to a much larger cup size. The band has about 40-44" of room with the extreme stretch of the material. The cup lace has less stretch, but combined with the stretch bands it will adapt to many larger and smaller sized body types.
The skirt hangs off the banding of the 'bra' top. The drape is good, but if you have any flaws in the front of your stomach, they may be highlighted. I will not wear this again as a one piece outfit. It made me look pregnant and the cut outs were very unflattering and sat in the wrong ares. I looked like a stuffed sausage with a looser casing...not very sexy unless you have a hot dog/sausage fetish!
Care & Storage:
Hand wash this chemise in COLD water to prevent any bleeding or fading of the colors. Make sure you use a gentle detergent such as Dreft or Woolite and let it air dry. Heat from a dryer will break down the spandex and deteriorate and shrink the material.
Store this on a hanger, folded in a drawer or rolled up in your dresser. This is a good item to use for travel since it does not wrinkle, takes up little space and is easy to clean.
Personal Notes:
I did not like the fit, it really was unflattering and showed more flaws than I thought I have. I also have to let you know that my husband thought I had a serious mishap with my lipstick. The floral pattern on the lace looked like I had dropped the tube and it stained the material while I was trying to catch it. Those are his words, not mine...but I did see the reasoning after he pointed it out.

Follow-up commentary
23 days after original review
This was so unflattering for me that I cut the top area off and tossed the bottom. If I was a bit thinner--with no figure flaws, it may have worked a lot better.

I like the way this one looks but I didn't think it would fit right. I got a chuckle out of the hot dog/sausage fetish comparison! Thanks for sharing!
-
Me either; don't think it would fit right. Thank you for your review.

Awesome review, thanks for sharing it with us!

Thanks for the great review, I am still debating on if I should get this one. I grabbed all the others except this one so far.
-
Thanks for the review. I don't like OSFM chemises because they're often unflattering on curvy women.
-
Thanks for the excellent review! Yep - "one size fits" so often DOESN'T fit. I don't think this would work for my wife.
-
great review. wouldn't fit me well either since I don't have a "perfect" figure.
-
I have looked at this a lot, as I think it is very pretty, but I had my concerns about its fit. As we have similar figures, you have confirmed for me that it is a definite no sale for me. Thanks!
-
Another wonderful review. I have really thought the other things in this series were so cute, but this one just isn't. It was wise of you to cut it up and at least get some use from it.

Thank!
