Pretty, with a Retro Feel
I'm happy I purchased this. It's cute and comfortable, and while it's not one of my absolute favorite items in my lingerie drawer, I enjoy wearing it every now and then.

Pros
Pretty, Comfortable, Bow is Removable, Retro Feel
Cons
Very frilly, lace could be itchy to some, no breast support
This piece makes me feel so cute and 1950's housewife! I know it probably doesn't really fit with what a woman in the 50's might wear, but it just gives off that vibe to me. It's really cute, and so feminine with the black lace and the pale pink trim and bow.
This came to me neatly folded and wrapped in EdenFantasys bright pink tissue paper. I've mentioned before that I love when things are packaged this way, because I reuse the tissue paper. Usually for gift bags, but sometimes for crafty things too!
The chemise is made by Coquette, and the tag features the usual. Company logo, model wearing the lingerie, washing inctructions, size, etc.
You get just the chemise here. It's a simple little black lace number. There are some fun, girly ruffles, and pale pink piping around the trim.
The flirty pink bow that adorns the front of the chemise, is simply pinned on. It's easy as pie to remove, and just as easy to put back on. I love this, as I prefer the chemise without the bow, but I can easily pin the bow to something else, like a headband or barette perhaps.
The lace is sheer, while still providing just enough coverage due to the dark floral designs in the pattern. I'm self concious of my battle scars from pregnancy, but my husband prefers lingerie he can see through. This is a nice compromise, he can see, and I'm covered enough to be comfortable.
I purchased the XL. For Coquette, this means you should be size 14 to 16, have D cup breasts, 42-44 bust, 34-36 waist, 44-46 hips. Personally, I usually wear a size 14, have full B to small C cup breasts, 38 band size, 36 waist, and 44 hips. This should fit me perfectly except for the breasts. Normally, with Coquette I would have an issue with the cups, but not with this chemise since there is no underwire or padding. The lace has a lot of stretch to it and it simply molds over my smaller than D cup breasts just fine. I don't like my lingerie skin tight, and this it tight but still has plenty of wiggle room for me, and plenty of stretch for more curvy bodies.

I still think this is a pretty chemise with a nice vintage vibe. I feel very feminine when I wear it, and I think it's holding up nicely to wear and washings.
