I'm a very weird size. I have a long torso, with everything else being short - "low rise" jeans and panties are often normal-rise on me. Plus-size panties are somehow way too large, and have way too much coverage, whereas smaller items may or may not fit, and may or may not have too much coverage. I have lower back issues that make it very difficult for me to wear anything that sits on my waist, so I'm always striving to find low-rise items that are actually my size. For everyday underwear, even the scandalously low-cut jeans I purchased at Vanity, this g-string is perfect and hides well under the waistband of the jeans.

This item runs a bit truer to size than I'd hoped it would. I've come across some rather oddly size panties in my time, and most of my collection is either L or XL, though I do have a pair of Medium that fits perfectly. According to Coquette's size chart, the XL, which I selected, should fit a 44-46 inch hip. I'm at about 54 inches, so, naturally, it digs in a bit, but it's not painful and I don't really feel it, probably due to the material. I would recommend this for a 40-48 inch hip, based off of how it fits me. The rise is adjustable - you can wear the side strings low across your hips, or pull the sides up to the top of your hip bone, depending on your preference.

The g-string arrived in the signature plain brown box, in a clear plastic bag with no product information on it. Attached to the g-string is a folded hang tag. The front features the product on a model, with the company logo, item style number, and company website. Unfolded, the center features two images of the black version of the product on a model. The back of the tag features style number, color, size, and a barcode that says "G-String (6pk)" above it, all on a white sticker. Below the sticker is the company name and motto, website, and washing instructions - Hand Wash Only, do not Iron, Tumble Dry, or Dry Clean. I wash my delicates in cold water, personally.

The fiber content is not mentioned anywhere, and there is only a small tag with the size on the g-string. The product page here on EF states that the item is Lycra in the product description, while the product details state polyester. I'm going to guess that it's a blend of the two. It has a nice, silky feel to it, and is very comfortable to wear. It does not have a cotton lining, so ladies who require one would prefer to opt with another product. I wore it all day, under my jeans at work, and I was extremely comfortable and barely noticed that I had it on. I personally don't have problems with infections from the occasional unlined panty, so I have no problem wearing it all day when the mood strikes me, but this may differ for others.

Each string measures 16 1/2" from the front of the panty to the back, and is 3/8" wide. The back is 3/4" at the top, and the front is 5" wide. The back and crotch are all one piece, and front to back is 12 3/4".

This piece is just hanging out in my drawer of panties that are slightly too small, waiting until they actually fit to wear them regularly.
