Poor Quality and Unflattering
Despite how cute this bustier looks on the model, it's not really flattering for me. The front is weirdly cut and the boning curves away from my body, which does not flatter my stomach at all. At the same time, the hip area is cut high and my hips are hanging out. The bustier does not have enough boning to really do it's job. There's only 4 pieces. The stockings and thong included in the set are very cheap. For $60, you're not getting a very good looking bustier.

Pros
Soft lace, looks cute on the hanger
Cons
not flattering to my body, weirdly cut, boning does nothing for me, cheap stockings and thong
Some lingerie seems to always catch my eye. Sometimes what I find myself looking at repeatedly is something I would never really consider wearing myself. I decided to review the white bustier with hose set since the set was something I kept looking at. I liked the lace on it, which is something I normally only like in smaller amounts. The set is available in sizes: small, medium, large, 1X, 2X, and 3X. At the time of my order, I hadn’t tried any other Escante brand lingerie and decided to go with size medium.
The set comes wrapped in a cellophane bag. The bustier is hung on a hanger and has the hose and thong attached to it. An attached tag shows a model wearing the set but does not have any useful information on it. A tag inside the bustier lists the material as 90% nylon and 10% elastic, exclusive of trim. The care instructions are: hand wash cold water, use only non-chlorine bleach, do not wring or twist, line dry, and iron on low temperature if necessary. The set is made in Mexico.
Despite how fancy the bustier looks, it’s pretty simple. The cups are lightly padded like a t-shirt bra and have underwire. They are completely opaque. The padding should be enough to hide nipples but it will not do anything to enhance your bust line. Attached to the top of each cup is an adjustable strap like those on bras. The top of each cup is lined with a white ruffled mesh. There is a tiny white ribbon bow between the cups. The front of the bustier’s midsection is all see-through white lace. The lace feels very soft to the touch. In the back, the bustier has two panels of sturdy, slightly rough, see-through white mesh off to the sides of each closure. The back is done up in a hook and eye closure system made up of two rows of 12 eyes and 12 hooks. The section where the eyes are is lined with felt underneath. Along the bottom of the bustier is another row of ruffled white mesh. The four white garter straps are also along the bottom. Neither the garter straps nor the bra straps are removable.
The bustier has four plastic bones located on the front in the white lace portion. The bones are very floppy and do not hold their shape very well. At some points, the bones were actually curving out and up from the bottom of the bustier. When I wore the bustier, the bottom of it did not actually sit on my body. Instead, it kind of floated off a few inches like my stomach was pushing it out too far. Compared to the plastic boning in other bustiers and corsets, these seem far more flimsy. The boning is not continued in the back of the bustier.
The attached thong is just one of those cheap mesh ones. There is a tiny triangle of see-through mesh in the front and an even tinier one in the back right above where your crack would be. It has a small white panty liner in it. Other than that, the rest of it is elastic bands.
The final piece of the set is the sheer white thigh-high stockings. These are by far the cheapest stockings I have ever felt in my life. They are very wrinkly right out of the packaging and just look so fragile. This is just a plain pair of stockings; there’s no lace detailing or anything. They are stretchy but do not retain their original shape. They don’t feel all too soft, either. I am only able to get them to go about 4 inches past my knees before they will not stretch up anymore. There is no elastic or silicone band in the top, so you will need the bustier’s garter straps to hold them up. They did not cause any muffin top on my thighs. I noticed the ankle area was very baggy on me with the first wear, as was the toe area. Since they don’t retain their shape, each wear is going to progressively get worse and worse. I do not expect the stockings to hold up for more than 2-3 wears. Fortunately, these stockings will work with the bustier and are much higher quality.
Measurements:
Length of bustier: 17 inches
Length of boning: 12 inches
These measurements are done on the tightest setting. The looser setting adds an inch.
Bust: 28 inches
Waist: 22 inches
Top of hip: 28 inches
Thong waistband (unstretched/stretched): 28/44 inches
Thong rise: 5
Thong leg holes (unstretched/stretched): 24/32 inches
Maximum stretch of stocking top band: 28 inches
The bustier stretches an additional several inches to fit your body properly.

Experience
Continued from above
As I said before, I purchased size medium. When I looked at the size chart, that size seemed to be the best choice for me.
Size Chart (medium):
Dress size: 6 – 10
Cup: B – C
Bust: 34 – 36
Waist: 28 – 30
Hip: 32 – 34
Weight: 120 – 140
I’m between sizes 5 and 8. I wear a size 34B bra. My waist measures 27 inches and my hips measure 35 inches. Escante’s size chart seems to be pretty jacked up for the hip measurement, so I never really pay it any attention. If I fit within the bust and waist, I’ll most likely fit the hip as well. I weigh about 140 to 145 pounds, so I am at the higher end of the weight listed for this size.
The bustier fit okay. I had it on the tightest setting and felt it was properly tight against my skin. The cups felt a bit too big, but that’s unfortunately normal for me. To me, a bustier should actually boost me up a bit, but this did not have enough sturdy boning to do so. Like I said before, the bottom of the bustier curved up and out away from my body, which was not flattering. The bustier is also cut so that the front falls further down than the sides, so my hips were hanging out while my crotch was almost completely covered by bustier.
This is definitely a photo I am not proud of sharing.
The thong fit fine, however I choose not to wear it due to personal preference. It’s stretchy enough to probably fit up to a size large. If you’re looking for an alternative pair of panties, these would match the bustier.
I think the stockings are very awkward in fit. They seem to be too large for me, yet they’re much too short for me to wear them where I want to. They’re stretchy enough to fit thighs larger than mine, which measure 20 inches around where the stockings sit.
I would follow the care instructions for the bustier and stockings. Both should be hand washed and hung up to dry. Wringing the bustier will ruin the boning, so you’ll want to avoid doing so. The thong seems like it would make it through the washer and dryer if thrown in a mesh lingerie bag.
Since the bustier comes with a hanger, I recommend that for storage. This will ensure that the boning does not become warped during storage. The stockings and thong can’t be hung up on the hanger, but they should be fine in a drawer.
My overall opinion of the bustier is not very high. For almost $60, you’re not getting a very good bustier. Escante obviously did not put much thought or effort into the thong or stockings and the bustier really isn’t very flattering. Compared to other bustiers around this price point, I’ve had much nicer.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I still don't like this set. I haven't worn it since my initial review. The most handling it gets from me is being shoved out of the way so I can find something that is a bit more flattering to my body. I would have already tossed the stockings if I didn't think I could find another use for them. It always seems I never have a pair of nylons I'm willing to part with when I come upon a craft that can use them.
