Pearls for My Ass?
For the price and for being made by Coquette, I am really unimpressed with these panties. The design is very interesting, but its not very functional for long term wear or for going out in. The fit is a bit off and so is the sizing, but we did enjoy them for the one time I used them.

Pros
Interesting Design, String of pearls is removable, Durable lace
Cons
Lower quality than other Coquette panties, Small for OS, Cheaper feel
*Intro
The Pearl Lace Panty from Coquette is a truly interesting piece of lingerie, but it's not exactly a delight to wear, and it runs small on the hips. For a one size piece, it is worse than other items in the Coquette collection and doesn't love curves as well as I would like them to. It's not really something that can be worn out very comfortably, but it is a cool piece to wear in the bedroom, if you don't plan on keeping it on long.
*Contents/overview: Two piece panty
These panties have two pieces, the panty and the string of pearls. They don't come in a one size fits all for plus sizes and are offered in black as well. They are basically shaped like a hip hugger, but don't have any sort of crotch. They fit more like a S/M or M compared to Coquette's size chart.
*Material: Durable but unimpressive
These panties are made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex, exclusive of the trim. The trim is the string of fake pearls. They are made of plastic and coated in a paint to make them pearl looking. The lace is thick, and somewhat soft. it's very durable and strong but it does not feel impressive or high quality.
The lace material has a pattern I have not seen before. It has swirls and lotus looking flowers that appear from the side. It's not the prettiest pattern I have seen for lace, but it's not ugly either.
*Design/craftsmanship: Good
These panties are basically a hip hugger thong. The top of them has a thin elastic band that is sewn securely into the lace. The size and feel of the band screams lower quality. The front and back have a seam that goes down the center. Surprisingly, these panties are absent of bows! It feels like there should be a small one, front and center, but there isn't. When laid flat, the band is 13 1/2" long.
There is no crotch to these panties. The come down to a point in the front and back, right over the crease of the vaginal lips and the buttocks. Attached to the very end of these points is a small elastic loop. Into the elastic loop the last bead on each end of the string of pearls slips in. The pearls tring is 6 1/2" long and can be cut to be shorter. Even with a good amount of tugging, the pearls don't come loose, but the way they secure is sort of tacky and it leaves the end bead to stick out.
So there is no crotch to these panties. The pearls run along the vaginal lips and in between the butt cheeks. They can go in between the cheeks or be laid on the crease of them. With movement they will eventually move on in one way or another.
There is a typical black Coquette tag in the back of the panty that is not terribly visible, but I'd remove it.
*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash
The tag says to hand wash. Wince these are white, I would only wash them with like colors. Before washing, remove the string of pearls. Those can be rinsed by hand, but never scrubbed. It can remove the coating on them. They can in a small plastic bag with an attached cardboard bi-fold with a picture of a model wearing the panties.

Experience
*Sizing: Run a little small for one size fits most
This pair of panties runs small. Coquette doesn't seem to have very good sizing for their one size fits most panties. These are not as bad as the other I have tried, but they still don't fit me as well as I would like and I'm a size 8 with 38" hips.
I believe the Pearl Panty is from the 2011 holiday collection, so I am going to use Coquette's chart instead of Eden's since it is more accurate and updated. According to that chart is should fit a dress size of 6-12, 38-40" hips, and 120-150 pounds. I weigh about 142 pounds. These were a bit snug on me, but not bad at all. I just prefer my panties to be streamlined against my skin. If you are like me and want no cut in AT ALL, I would recommend these for hips no larger than 37". I also feel like their fit isn't as modern as most Coquette panties. They rode a tad higher than normal.
I';m just overall not impressed. I don't feel super sexy in them. They are a tad uncomfortable too. I do like that I have nothing like them and it was hot to have my partner slowly remove the string of pearls to get at me, but I don't think I'll be wearing these much, if ever again.
*Re-done Sizing/Best fit:
Dress size: 4-8
Hip size: 34"-37"
*Conclusion:
I'm giving these 3 stars because I feel that they are lower quality than the other Coquette panties from the same collection. The fit isn't as good and neither are the materials. They are unique, but it's not a panty I will wear often.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I'll never be wearing these again because I got rid of them. After reading other reviews, I can't recommend them to anyone at this price.
