Basics
The mesh halter mini dress by Coquette is a sheer cut away dress with rhinestone accents. The dress has an open back and ties in the back and behind the neck. The reason I requested this dress was because of the rhinestone accents. I definitely have a weakness for the bling-bling.

Material & Care
The material is an 82% spandex and 18% nylon mix. I was very impressed with the quality of the material considering the price. It is very soft and silky to the touch. There were no loose threads and it wasn't itchy or irritating at all. For 20 dollars I wasn't expecting something that looked and felt so high end.

There wasn't any information on the site about cleaning options, but on the packaging it indicated that the dress should be hand washed and hung to dry.

Sizing
It is a One Size Fits Most, which can have a large range. I usually fit between a tight Medium or a loose Large. For the record, I am 5'5", size 10-12, 40" bust, 32" waist, 40" hips, and this dress fits me pretty well. The ties do a good job of accommodating a large range of sizes. I think this piece would fit someone larger than me but not much larger and it will fit much more comfortably on someone smaller.

Design
This piece is not subtle. It's not really appropriate for wearing outside, or around guests ( Unless they're THAT kind of guests, in which case, go for it). I would say that this is just a bedroom piece. But what a bedroom piece it is! The sheer cups leave nothing to the imagination, the rhinestones give it a feeling of glamor and the skirt is in just the right place to minimize attention to your lower stomach. I really like the skirt from the back. It's flattering and just the right length to look casual and sexy.

There is support to the bra cups but the neck ties are uncomfortable to wear for more than 10 minutes. Now I wouldn't say you need to have small breasts or implants to pull this one off, but the bigger your breasts are the more the neck strap will dig in. Depending on how you intend to use this piece you might not need more than 10 minutes in it anyway.

While I would have preferred more traditional adjustable straps, something a little more sturdy, the ties do allow you to customize the height of the bust and the width of the waist to accommodate a variety of sizes. The ties do make one thing easier, getting it off, just two pulls and you're ready for action.

Packaging
The packaging for this dress came in a small cardboard box with the model from the website featured on the front and back. Other than the brand and description of the product, not much more information is offered. You could use the box for storage but it would probably take up less room hung up in a closet or tucked away in a drawer.

It's hard not to feel sexy wrapped in something so obviously provocative. I love the way this piece looks on me. It's very flattering to my cleavage and stomach. If the neck tie was less painful this would easily be in my top ten, as it is I like to be able to lounge around in something sexy and this doesn't work for that. I will be keeping it to pull out later for some sexy moments with a girlfriend.

I haven't worn this since I got it, and I really don't think I'm going to get much use from it. I do like how it looks once it's on, but the hassle of trying to get the neck tie tight enough and fitting my breasts properly just doesn't seem worth it.

I've also ruled out anything else with a halter string tie in the future; lingerie shouldn't hurt, and I require too much support to put all that weight on a tiny area of my neck.

I'm not surprised this got discontinued so fast.
