Only perfect bodies need apply!!
I am leaving it up to you "to buy or not to buy". If you have a small, hard body with perky breasts under a small C AND you like form fitting, clingy lingerie, you have hit the jackpot!! It is pretty, and in truth, my sweetie loves this. I just don't feel pretty or sexy when I wear this. Feeling sexy is 96% of being sexy!! I am giving this 3 stars because it didn't work for me. If this works for you, it is worth 5 stars.

This chemise is very sheer, moderately stretchy, has no underwire support and is completely unforgiving. NOPE. No second chances with this one. Move out and move on!!! If you have ever had a partner who just couldn't get past a small flaw in the relationship well...this gown will feel familiar to you. It is clingy and not in the right places. It certainly doesn't look sexy on me. I ordered a size 1X because the picture looked rather fitted. I don't do fitted very well.
Why, oh why did I even order this? Take a good, hard look at the pictures on the product page. It's a gorgeous gown isn't it? BUT...look closer...look very close. Even on the model this just doesn't look that great, does it?
The sheer floral lace cups would fit a B. I am not sure if they would fit a C, but these D babies don't make it. In fact, these D's fall below the bra and need some gentle assistance to reach up and fill the cups (overfill...overflow...quite a bit...even the nip nips are poking over the top)!! If this were a 1/2 cup or shelf bra, fine. But it is a beautiful cup that won't accomodate my nicely shaped D babies. The lace has a scalloped top and a nice white satin ribbon between the cups.
From the highest point between the cups to the top of the lace that runs around the bottom of the very sheer plain white mesh (with a bit of stretch) it measures 17" long. The sheer floral lace that adorns the bottom is 8" wide. All the lace has scalloped edges. The manufacturer took the extra step to match the floral pattern at the seems--something not seen except on high end garments. Thank you Seven til Midnight!
At the bottom of the bra, the measurement is 18" across and has a moderate amount of stretch. I measure 35" at that point and across my breasts I measure 41". There is a standard bra back with 2 rows of hook/eyes that have 3 adjustments. I think there would be enough support if your breasts fit in the cups but mine don't make it so it is hard to say. At the top of the lace at the bottom of the skirt, the measurement is 20" with not much stretch. The white mesh has some nice stretch but it is limited by the non-stretchiness of the lace. The g-string will fit a wide range because the elastic is very soft and stretchy. The front triangle is the sheer white mesh (no lace, no bows). It is 4.5" across the horizontal plane and 7" towards the crotch. There is a tiny cotton lining at the crotch. It is comfortable because the elastic is so soft but it looks silly (at least on me). I do not shave and this patch does not cover my pubic hairs.
The fabric is a nylon/spandex blend. It is very delicate and Seven til Midnight recommends that you wash this by hand in cold water. Do not use bleach (it will likely yellow the fabric). The manufacturer also tells you not to wring or twist and to hang to dry. If you will hand wash this, rather than hanging it up to dry, I suggest laying it on a dry bath towel. It is so lightweight it will not take long to dry. I just put it in a special little "bra holder" that I picked up at BB&B and wash it with other delicate items in the washer on the gentle cycle. I do not machine dry it. The other care instruction is to not iron this.

Experience
I really do like this chemise. It is pretty, sexy and well made. It just wasn't designed with my body and boobies in mind. I even ordered a size up (1X/2X) and it is really fitted and clingy. Normally I am a large or extra large. In clothes I am a size 12/14 and occassionally (very occassionally!) I can pull off a 10 in pants or skirts. I carry my weight in the middle, which is my problem with this chemise. I thought this looked like a straight design and not flared so I decided to order up. I do not think even the 3X/4X would work for me. My other half likes the way it looks (but you know how little it takes to turn up the heat on some guys' furnaces!!) so I will wear it from time to time. I will retire it after July 4th and hopefully it will be a distant memory by then.

This is still a nice chemise. It isn't our favorite, but it is nice enough. I think it is very, very comfortable now.

Sadly, from your review, it doesn't sound like this would flatter me, either.
