One Size Fits Small
If you want a bit of flash, these stockings are good quality for a good price. If your mid-thigh is bigger than 21 inches these stockings will cut in, so keep that in mind.

Pros
flattering, price, flashy.
Cons
might be too small for some.
This pair of thigh high fishnet stockings comes from Coquette. These stockings are unique because along with the slightly trashy yet alluring look of fishnet, they have a sequined band around the top giving them a classy touch.
This pair was surprisingly successful in staying up; I thought the band might be heavy enough that they would slip, but the elastic held up well. I wore them around the house for several hours to test them out.
I was also worried about the sequins digging into my skin, but the stitching is good and the sequins don't have direct contact with you skin so there is no irritation.
When taking them off, the sequins do have a habit of getting tangled in the netting; care should be taken to untangle them to avoid snares.
Altogether, I was satisfied with the fit and feel. The comfort range for these stockings is about 18 to 21 inches where you want the top of the stockings to rest. Any less than that and they might fall down, bigger and you'll have a muffin top situation. I would do a quick measurement before placing an order just to make sure these will suit.
With the proper outfit, these stockings could easily accompany you for a night out, although with there slightly 'trashy' feel, they won't work with every style. Also, unlike nylon stockings, these provide no warmth.
For me, I think these stocking will remain a lingerie piece because I don't often wear skirts out. I think the most striking feature about these stockings is the sequined band and I would have to wear an awfully short skirt to be able to show them off properly.
The sequined band is only attached at one part to the top of the stockings, but while they're on you can't tell.
This does mean that they're garter compatible. Personally, I think they look better without garters, but I did test them out with a gartered slip I have and the garter clips stayed connected and didn't dig in.
As far as cleaning goes, because of the sequins, I would recommend carefully hand washing and laying flat to dry.

Experience
The toes of these stockings are reinforced with a tighter weaving and seem like they'd hold up well.
The weak point of these stockings are around the sequins, which catch on the netting. I've also noticed a few of the sequins have fallen off. Since these will just be bedroom pieces for me, I think they'll last longer than for someone that plans to regularly wear them out as part of an outfit. Still, I think the value is worth the price and I'm glad to add them to my collection.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I've worn them a couple of times since getting them with no snags so far. I'm still impressed with the quality and style, and I think this pair of stockings made a good addition to my collection.
