Nothing to Write Home About
The Long Sleeve Floral Lace Mini Dress by Leg Avenue is an inexpensive, cute outfit. The material is ridiculously stretchy in both width and length so it will fit most people. The quality isn't amazing, but you're not paying top dollar either. I found the material to be a bit bothersome on my arms after wearing the dress for a while but my skin is fairly sensitive. I think it's a nice piece if you aren't bothered by the material or frayed edges.

Pros
Great price, cute, extremely stretchy in both width and length, will fit most people.
Cons
sleeves like to creep upwards, edges of dress are a bit frayed.
The Long Sleeve Floral Lace Mini Dress by Leg Avenue is offered in plus size. I really liked the look of the outfit and the price was excellent. I usually wear an XL so I figured the plus size would work well for me. Sometimes I can work with the OSFM outfits if they are stretchy but then other times they are a tad bit too tight for comfort.
The outfit arrived in a rectangular cardboard package. The front of the packaging has a photo of a model wearing the outfit. It also states the company name, product name, size, and suggested weight bracket. The back of the packaging has the same information as well as the care instructions, material composition, and company contact information. I don’t think the packaging is ideal for storing the outfit when it’s not being worn. It can be hung up in the closet or put in a drawer.
Inside of the cardboard packaging, the dress is wrapped around a thin piece of cardboard and wrapped with plastic. The outfit is 93% nylon and 7% spandex. The material is ridiculously stretchy. When the outfit arrives, it hasn’t been stretched yet. The size of the outfit when it’s not been stretched yet looks tiny enough to fit a doll. For example, when I first took the outfit out of the packaging, I measured the chest (outfit laying flat). It was 7 ½ inches wide.
I decided not to include unstretched measurements like I usually do since this outfit has to be stretched in order for a person to actually fit into it. Then I was thinking of adding the measurements of the outfit if I stretched it as much as I could. I went to take a measurement of the bottom of the sleeve (the cuff), which is about 2 ¾ inches not stretched. When I stretched the bottom of the sleeve as much as I could, it was about 16 inches wide. So like I said, it’s very, very stretchy. Below is a photo of the dress after I had worn it (so it’s a bit stretched), and beside it is a photo of the lace pattern up close.
I’ve decided to just provide you with a few of my measurements and tell you how it fit my body. If you need a specific measurement just let me know and I’ll be able to get it for you. I just feel that both unstretched and completely stretched measurements won’t be very helpful to most people.
The packaging states that the plus size is best suited for those in the weight bracket of 150-200lbs. I’m in the 160’s range so I fit in that bracket. I’m 5’6 in height, wear a C38 bra, and my hip measurement is 41 inches.
The dress is quite basic in design. The entire dress has the floral lace pattern to it and is black in colour. Down the centre front of the dress, there is netting. At the top of the netted area, there are 2 long strings. These strings can be tied into a bow or left dangling. The strings look as though they would adjust the netting at the centre front of the dress in the stock photo but they don’t adjust anything. The netted area is not adjustable other than by stretching it and making it wider.
The dress can be worn off or on the shoulders. The model in the stock photo has this area in between off and on. I like when the dress sits on my shoulders. I found that the length of the arms didn’t really want to stay at wrists though. Even when I wore the dress off the shoulders, the sleeves slowly crept up. I consider the sleeves to be ¾ sleeves since they sit half way between my elbow and wrist. The length of the sleeves can be stretched to your wrists (which I did), but they don’t stay that length for long. The only stretching that actually stays that way while you wear it is the width.
The length of the dress was good for me. As mentioned, the length can be stretched. The dress sits just past my bum so it covers the bum and my front area just fine. I’m able to stretch the dress in length, just past my kneecaps. The suggested weight bracket of up to 200lbs is a bit limiting I think. The only part of the dress that lacks stretch is the trim along the top of the dress (the part that you can pull down to wear it off the shoulders).

Experience
...continued
The rest of the dress is so stretchy that I could probably fit another me inside of it and still be fine. As long as you carry your weight somewhere other than your shoulders you should be fine, even if you’re over the suggested weight.
My C chest fit fine in the dress. There is no padding or underwire. If you are concerned about your nipples showing through the material, you may want to wear a set of pasties beneath the outfit since it can be seen through. With the stretch to the material, it should fit most people regardless of your cup size. It may be uncomfortable for those with larger breasts though because there is no support.
The quality of the dress is okay. I guess it’s what you’d expect for such a low price. The dress itself is nice but the ends of the sleeves aren’t trimmed so they look a bit frayed and just cut. The same goes for the bottom and top of the dress (any opening). This is a really small detail that my partner would never notice, but I figured it was worth mentioning. Below are a couple photos of the edges. The first photo is the area at the centre top of the front of the dress and the second photo is the bottom of the sleeve.
The material is soft so it’s fairly comfortable against the skin. I say “fairly comfortable” because the sleeves did bother my arms a little bit after wearing the dress for a while. Most people wouldn’t have an issue with the material. The care tag states that the outfit should be hand washed in cold water and drip-dried. You should only use non-chlorinated bleach if you need to bleach the dress and it should not be ironed.
Overall, this dress is cute and an excellent price. I’ve deducted two stars because I don’t find it entirely comfortable after wearing it for longer periods of time, the sleeves don’t want to stay stretched in length, and the fraying around the edges of the dress. These things may not bother some people so it may work better for them.
