This is the first review I have ever written out of exasperation. While I usually don't review an item I only had for a brief amount of time and didn't have a whole lot of experience with, I seem to be the only one on here that has had much experience at all with this garter belt. When I got the second e-mail asking me for extensive information on it I figured that I may as well write a review!

Made of a silky but moderately stiff material, this feels like a high quality piece of lingerie. It is a pretty, light creme color with black floral print. It is a bit more creme than white/gray which picture doesn't show very well, but it is VERY pretty! There are matching panties that are seen worn underneath this garterbelt in the picture which also are a very pretty print and fabric.

This garter is VERY adjustable and it does so in a very unique way. In the back of the garter belt, which you can see a bit in the picture, is an adjustable strap. It functions in the same way a bra strap does, with a similar sliding adjustable part on a slightly stretchy band. The back band is the only part of this garter belt that has any give to it because the rest is a very unforgiving fabric. I wear a 7 or 8 in pants sizes and had it about halfway tightened. The only complaint I have about this is that if you are using it to hold up thigh highs and walking a lot it may become looser with time.

The main problem I had with this garter belt is that it was more for aesthetic than practical use. I used several different pairs of panty hose and had similar problems with all of them; the clasps kept popping off! I would pull up my hosiery, pin it with the clasp, walk around for about a minute, and they would snap right off. The hook is the usual circle you put through a keyhole design that locks into place, but it just doesn't do it firmly.

While it is not the best for a foundation garment, this would be great in the bedroom! If you're looking for something that you can use to frame your rump and only plan on minimal movement, this is a great choice. The fabric is soft and leaves the sexual areas open and accessible for a lover.

I returned this because I was looking for something that I could wear under my skirts to hold up some sexy pantyhose I had also gotten. Being a woman of shapely thighs, I always have trouble with pantyhose rolling down my thighs at inopportune moments. While this one didn't satisfy my needs I did find one that held them up well, so I sent this back. Overall, it really depends on what you're looking to use this for. The same way that peek-a-boo bras are not the most ideal to wear under your every day wardrobe, sexy and less-than-functional lingerie has it's time and place.

I am rating this a three star because, while I didn't like it and it didn't work for me, I love how it looks and how adjustable it is. The fabric is comfortable and it is well made, I just with that they had put a bit more effort into it holding up my stockings!
