I bought these tights even though I am just slightly outside the recommended weight gauge mainly because I am also very short and usually I can get away with buying a slightly smaller size of hose. These were no different even though usually Music Legs Hosiery run a little small.

I found the elastic waistband to be comfortable to wear and it easily stretched about my waist. I didn't feel like I was being cut in half like so many cheaper types of hosiery. The fabric stretched well enough to leave me feeling snug and the crotch of the hose hit me just exactly where it was supposed to.

The hose are mostly opaque and create a nice silhouette with some sexy lingerie, a nice dress or even a really nice pants suit. They are perfect for the colder weather and the vertical stripes really elongated my short legs giving me the illusion of more height.

I am oddly shaped and do not have overly large thighs so these fit me without some of the complaints of my more generously endowed fellow reviewers. My rather flat butt also allowed the tights to fit comfortably around my generous waist. Still the thigh area of the hose has begun to show some wear and I am expecting that to be the area that gives out first.

The material is an 80% polyester / 20% Nylon blend and it has held up well for five or six wearings. Now I am very careful with my hose and I normally can make a pair last for a few wearings but these have held up better than I would have given creedence when I bought them. They have begun to permanently stretch and have just started to lightly bag at the ankles so I expect they won't be wearable for much longer but still that's not a bad history.

I always wash my hosiery in lukewarm water in the sink with a mild lingerie soap. I rinse them fully and stay away from wringing and twisting the fabric. I drip dry the hose and they are as good as new.
