I own several of the Escante corsets, and out of all of them, this is my least favorite style. Escante corsets in general, are a you-get-what-you-pay-for product. If you want a cheap corset to wear, this will fit the bill, but it certainly isn't something that is built to last. If you treat it with care, don't lace it up too tightly or put too much strain on it, and are careful not to let it get snagged, it will last you a good while. But if you are looking for a true corset with the ability to change your figure, a $30-40 corset (with a zipper on the side) isn't going to cut it.

Like most of the Escante corsets, this one is pretty true to size. I wear a 34C (on the small side) and I ordered a 34. If the cut was a little different, I feel like I would have liked this a lot more. I've never owned a corset that has a sweetheart neckline, and the support it gives is a little different than one that is just cut straight across. Depending on how it's laced, I estimate that it could be as tight as 30 inches, or as loose as 36 inches.

It covers enough of you to make it something that you could easily wear for a night out, but if you are craving that amazing corset cleavage, you may have to do something to support the ladies a little bit more. Again, I'm not sure if this is because of the cut of the neckline, because this is not an issue I have with other Escante corsets.

As long as you don't lace it too tight, you should be able to get it laced to where you want it, and then use the zipper on the side to take it on and off so that you don't have to mess with the laces again. It's a great convenience, but doesn't create much in the way of support or body shaping, especially with the plastic boning.

I know it sounds like a I have a lot of negative things to say about the corset, but that simply isn't true. I just want people to understand what they are getting here. It's a fun piece to own, and even though it's not my favorite, there are still ways I can incorporate this into my wardrobe, and plan on doing so.
