• Not true to size.
Brought to us by Leg Avenue, a dependable set of Fishnet Stockings made for the slightly thicker legged woman. These did not fit me all the well, my scrawny knees and ankles just didn't have enough padding to fill the stockings. Though they are extremely comfortable, when I wear them, I look like I am wearing solid black stockings on my lower legs. On my thighs they almost fit, but not completely. They are a basic fishnet design with no back seam, which I do love. They also have a closed toe which to me is a big plus.
I am 5'5", I weigh in around 130ish. Though I have scrawny legs, and my thighs are somewhat full. When I wore them, I had to pull them up as high as possible and bunch the excess around my thighs. Within just a few minutes they were falling down and bunching at my ankles.
They come in a 'one size fits most' sizing concept that is supposed to be for 90-160 lbs. After trying them on, I totally disagree on the sizing. I would say they are more of a 'one size fits most plus'. It is quite obvious having tried them on that they should have been made for the average plus size girl.
I don't want my review to make these seem like low quality. They were actually quite nice for the amazing 3.99 price tag. They seem durable like they might actually last a while. They just didn't fit my scrawny ass. If you have a little meat on your legs, I am sure you will love the look and feel that these stockings give. The best part, they come in seven different colors!
The color choices are:
• Black
• White
• Baby Blue
• Baby Pink
• Red
• Purple
• Nude
How can you say no to so many options at such an affordable price?
As for care instructions. If you know anything about fishnet, you know that you typically don't have to worry about 'runs', but there are other problems that can come from poor care. You will want to hand wash them with cold water and hang to dry. Being in a washer will just stretch them and possibly snag and stretch a few holes. If you attempt to dry them (which I have done with fishnets in the past), you will just end up with a big lint ball that will never be right again. So make sure that you follow the care instructions every time.
They come in the basic stockings cardboard package. It is not discreet as it shows the picture right on it. So if you are ashamed about being a person who wears fishnets, I would make sure it is tucked away. The cardboard package is actually great to store them in. Otherwise you could just fold them and stash them in a drawer, or lay them over a hanger.

Experience
Though these didn't fit me, I am still them 4 stars. Other than the obvious sizing issue, they not only feel comfortable and durable. But they come in so many color options for such an unbeatable price. If there were a way I could manipulate them to fit. I would do it.
Sadly, these are going to be another pass over to my plus sized cousin. Maybe even a Christmas present if she doesn't read this review!

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
Sadly I haven't been able to wear these because there just isn't enough of me to fill them. But I passed them along to a bigger friend and they look great.
