Not a Diamond or Ruby
These are just all sorts of wrong. The length causes the netting to bunch and the band doesn't fit at the correct spot if they are pulled so they don't bunch. The color is not at all like it is pictured. I really hope they work for someone, but it sadly is not me.

Pros
Large netting
Cons
Quality, Too long, Band is wooly, Wrong color (not bright red), Reinforced toe is useless, Bunches
These are trash unless you are really tiny AND tall. I so fell in love with the design of these when I saw them. The dual coloring is so hot! I also love diamond net. I think it can be even sexier than fishnet at times. I got these to go along with a Halloween costume, but I ended up wanting to throw these out. I am so dissapointed! The band does stretch, but it still cuts in a lot and is tight. The netting portion is incredibly long and I had a hard time pulling it onto my legs so that it didn't look bunched or thicker in areas. In the end, I cut these up, which ruins the whole idea of the dual coloring since the band cannot be seen when I wear them now. You have to be very tall AND have very thin thighs for these to be ideal. If you are short, you will have a lot of extra leg length or the pattern won't pull tight.
*Overview:
This pair of stockings from Leg Avenue are described as diamond netted. They look more like Fencenet when they are on me because the pattern doesn't stretch out fully. Diamond netting creates large holes, much larger than fishnet, if that's what you are used to. Fishnet doesn't cause skin to be pushed through the holes, but this can occur with larger gauged netting if it is not fitted properly. And even if it is, un-toned bodies will find that the netting can cause plushing (a term I am coining). They have a wide red band at the top of the black netting that has a black and red bow affixed to the front. They are only offered in this color combination on Eden and are one size fits most, which I have found to be grossly inaccurate.
MY net scale (largest to smallest): Diamond, Fencenet, Industrial, Fishnet, Macronet, Micronet, Mesh, Solid
*Material Cheap, disappointing
These stockings are made of 70% nylon and 30% spandex. The material feels REALLY cheap, especially the top band which is like a scratchy wool! I hate it! It gives me the shivers honestly, like the thought of a cotton ball being pulled apart. The top band has two densities. The top portion of it is very thick and doesn't feel nice at all. The lower part is about half as thick and came with runs already in it. The netting is also a lower quality and not impressive at all. For the higher price of these, it's really disappointing. Also, the red color is a deeper color than shown. It's not vibrant at all. The black and red ribbon on it looks mismatched because the hues are so off. The netting does stretch fairly well.
*Design/craftsmanship: eh...
The band is about 3" tall. The thicker part is 2" and the lower thinner part is 1". The top has two layers. There is no seam at the top connecting the band to itself. The bow is doubled with red and black and sits in the center of the band. The black netting connects to the bottom of the band with a strong connection.
The length of these is ridiculous. Without much effort at all, I can stretch them to be 60" long...Not on me, they easily reach from toe to above the knee on my thigh wear I would like to wear them. Speaking of the toe, it is reinforced, but super annoying. It's hard to keep in place and the toes often find their way through the holes anyways.
*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash
The package says to hand wash these. I would do so because of the large holes. It would likely get tangled too easily if put in a lingerie bag in the washer. Drip dry them after washing. I tie mine together for storage since folding them in on themselves like socks does not work that well. They come in a flat cardboard package with a picture of them being worn on the front and back.
They are made in Taiwan.

Experience
*Sizing/Application: Tight, long
These stockings are "one size fits most". They have a suggested weight range listed on the package of 90-160 pounds. they should be labeled as long or tall! Holy crap these are way too long. They bunch up and the netting doesn't look right. The thigh band is also tight and not flattering. I can get it to wear I like to wear my stockings and it fits fine there, but the bunching is an issue, so if I pull these up to the thickest part of my thigh, about an inch below my torso, the band is too tight for my liking.
I'm 5'6", ~142 pounds and my thighs are about 23" at the thickest part around. They are smaller where I prefer to wear my thigh highs - 20". So my conclusion is that these are best for women with average thighs and are very tall, taller than 5'8". Sure you can wear them if you are larger or shorter, but they won't look like the model at all. She must me a giant... i am also not a fan of wearing these with garters. The band is too thick.
*BEST Fit Chart:
Pounds: 100-135 (need long legs!)
Height: 5'8"-Giant
Thigh circumference: ~19"-21"
*Conclusion:
Sadly, I'm giving these a 2 star rating. The quality is poor and the fit is so off. I wear these ALL the way up to my butt with shorts, but it defeats the two tone feature if it is hidden.

I still don't like these and can't imagine ever liking them. If they had a plus size option, I'd try it even though I've never tried a PS stocking.

Thanks for such a great review! I really like your newly coined term, "plushing"! Such a nice sounding way to put a not so nice phenomenon!
