Pros
Comfortable, easy care, affordable, stylish.
Cons
Sizing is a little off.
The Executive Dancer exotic lingerie/role-play costume by Dreamgirl International is a sexy little number that is not only eye-catching, but comfortable. I already own a skimpy pencil skirt office get-up, but opted for this four-piece ensemble as an alternate selection when I don’t feel like wearing something constricting.
Based on a few current Dreamgirl pieces I own, I knew that the sizing wouldn’t be a perfect fit for my body. Generally, I find their tops run a little on the small side and their bottoms a wee bit too large. Obviously, this isn’t a custom-tailored suit, and since it’s impossible to mix and match sizes, I wisely sized up and chose the L. Sure enough, the top fits just right; however, the skirt hangs loosely on my lower hips, but it works. Note: My hips are 39-40", which falls within the L measurement range for this costume, yet it is still a bit over-sized. Ideally, I need a M skirt, but there is no way I would have been able to squeeze in to a M top with my 36/38 D's.
The top is cute, with just enough fabric to cover my breasts and to also entice the viewer with some cleavage. Think along the lines of a cropped peasant top and you get the idea. The sleeves are trimmed with silver and black pin-striped fabric to imitate cuffs, which are connected by a thin silver chain, mimicking a cuff link.
The skirt is fun and flouncy, with a left hip side-slit just below the silver accent buckle. I use the term flouncy to describe the fluidity of the polyester fabric. The pleats on my skirt are not as tightly gathered as the one pictured. These tend to flare a little, making it look more like a balloon skirt. I like that the skirt allows for freedom of movement during an impromptu strip-tease or a rehearsed dance number and was reassured knowing that I wouldn’t be splitting any zippers. It is short, and with just a slight bend at the waist, I can offer a tantalizing glimpse of my goodies!
The additional accessories include a well-constructed black thong and a complimentary pin-striped cravat/tie to coordinate with the rest of the outfit. Each half of the latter is joined by Velcro, although I am not quite sure what the intended use of that is? I can’t even tie a real tie! Perhaps it is so that the length can be extended if desired.
Overall, this executive ensemble is an attractive, easy care, travel-friendly (wrinkle-free) set which is sure to impress. I only gave it 4-stars, because in my opinion, the sizing is a bit off, but not by far.

Follow-up commentary

Great costume, I've received compliments every time I wear it and I love that the skirt gives, if you know what I mean. I need to find a school girl costume with a plaid skirt made out of this same stretchy material.
