When I ordered this, I was excited. It looked like a really sexy set. However, once I got it, I was a bit disappointed. It arrived wrapped in plastic inside tissue paper, so the presentation was really nice. It was once I took the chemise out of the package where I started to lose hope in this item. It felt soft enough, but once I put it on, my mind changed. The pictures of this item are a bit misleading, as well as the description. It states that it is stretch satin, but it reminded me of the fire retardant material children costumes and pajamas are made of. It's constructed from your basic nylon satin, which definitely feels quite different than your traditional soft satin. The lace panel is really nice though. It's not stretch lace, but since the rest stretches, it lends itself to a nice fit. It's definitely designed to bring out the feminine curves of a woman with the way it hugs the body but flares out at the bottom. As far as the fit goes, it's very forgiving. I got the size 2x, worried it wouldn't fit since I vary between 1x to 3x depending on the lingerie manufacturer. It fit very well, considering I was 3 months pregnant when I got it. The G-string that comes with it is very cheap feeling, scratchy, and fits a lot smaller than a 2x.

Caring for this item is relatively simple. Taking care to ensure that you're not wearing any jewelry with sharp edges, and that your nails don't have any splits will go a long way in making sure that this item doesn't snag. Washing is pretty easy. I've washed it in the washer on the gentle cycle in Woolite, with and without a lingerie bag, and haven't had any snags, runs, or any loose threads. Storage is simple. I place it in the same drawer with all my other lingerie, away from anything with hooks, and it's done just fine. No discoloration or anything like that.

If you're looking to take it on the road with you for a good time, wearing it under your clothes is probably the easiest way to take it with you. Otherwise, tossing it in your bag will work too.

I think that I would have enjoyed this set more if it was made from the traditional satin, even if traditional satin doesn't have stretch to it. The stretch gave it such a nice fit, and definitely made me feel sexy. However, the scratchy feeling of the material took away from the experience, and I have tried giving this a couple of chances. Unfortunately, the material just detracts from it. My hubby enjoyed it at first, but after touching it for a while, he decided it felt pretty cheap.
