The blue mist baby doll with g-string lingerie is manufactured by Fantasy Lingerie and is cute as can be. It is sheer and lace, interwoven to make a beautiful gown. When I placed the order for this gown, I had plans for a full weekend with hubby. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out as planned. The day before it arrived, I broke out with systemic poison oak and ended up in the doctor’s office getting prednisone and vistaril. Wearing this gown or any other article of clothing was the last thing on my mind for several days.

After several days, my outlook on life changed and I was ready to try on the baby doll. Pulling it out of the pretty pink tissue paper that it had arrived in, I gently removed it from the plastic bag. Pulling the gown part out of the bag, the first thing I noticed was the misty ocean blue shade of the gown. The front of the gown is lace and sheer polyester. The bottom section is all polyester. The bottom of the piece has a flounced skirt bottom and splits at the sides to allow for more mobility.

The halter top ties in the back with thin polyester ties and comes to the front to join with a lacy/mesh pattern of scallops and flowers. The bra cups are made of a panel of lace on the inside and a panel of sheer on the outer sides. There is a tiny blue rose at the top of each cup, near the ties. There is also another small rose at the middle under the breasts area. There is no underwire for support and the lace and sheer do not provide much support. The only adjustment in support is done by adjusting the ties to the halter. There is a small band that goes across the front under the bra cups that leads into the second section of the gown.

The second section is the sheer and lace section. It extends about fours inches down the gown and offers a see through lacy pattern across the stomach area. This section attaches to the skirt section at the bottom. The back of the gown is open from the halter ties to the lacy section below the breast line.

There is a G-string pair of panties that accompany the baby doll. The front of the panties is made of a sheer center section with a lacy/flowery section on each side. There is also a small rose at the top center of the G-string. Each of the roses have a thin green ribbon shaped to look like leaves.

The gown can be used for any special occasion or for just an evening at home with that someone special. I had ordered it to assist in celebrating our wedding anniversary. While it wasn’t used on that special night, we both enjoyed it when I did get around to wearing it. The gown is comfortable enough to sleep in, yet sexy enough that it probably won’t stay on until sleep time.

While I am self conscious of my larger sized breasts, I still felt sexy in this baby doll. The combination of the color and pattern of the material led to an increased self esteem and less aware of my size. The gown was easily removed by simply untying the halter top and letting the gown slip down to the floor. The baby doll is machine washable and can be dried on low setting. I have not washed it yet and will probably hand wash it or use the lingerie cycle on the washing machine.

The gown has been worn several times and has continued to hold up well. The ties are sturdy, have not stretched or torn. The lacy section has not torn and has not been easy to pick.

This is one of my favorite pieces. Even after losing 30 pounds, the stretchy material still fits and is flattering. The only problem is the G String is a little too loose now but that is expected with my weight loss. It has nothing to do with the material it is made of.
