No.
The Zip Front Vinyl Look Dress by Espiral is not a dress I'd recommend. The material is really thin and clingy so it grabs your curves whether you want it to or not. The shine to the wet look also acts like a highlighter. If you have any body insecurities, this isn't the dress for you. Another thing about the thin material is that it shows undergarment lines (stockings, underwear). The zipper area folds and gives the wearer these really awkward bulged areas. There are better dresses available.

Pros
Comfortable, stretchy, length covers bum, opaque.
Cons
Price is a bit high, thin material shows underwear lines, no padding at chest, zipper.
The Zip Front Vinyl Look Dress by Espiral is available in sizes S-XL. I had purchased the size XL for myself. The dress was folded within a plastic package when it had arrived. There was no text or images on the packaging. I imagine that the plastic was used for storage and shipping purposes in the warehouse. It won’t work for storing the dress when you’re not wearing it. I’d suggest hanging it in a closet.
There was a cardboard tag attached to the outfit when it had arrived. The tag states the company name, product name, size, and colour. The dress is 93% polyester and 7% elastic. The material has a wet-look to it and is very stretchy. The dress is opaque and does not become sheer the more it is stretched.
I’ve taken a couple measurements of the dress lying flat. If you need any other measurements please send me a message and I will get them for you.
Length of dress (armpit to bottom): 22 ¾ inches
Chest (armpit to armpit), not stretched: 17 inches
Chest (armpit to armpit), stretched as much as I could: 28 inches
Waist: 13 inches
Width at bottom of dress: 17 inches
The shoulder straps are not adjustable in length, other than by stretching them. Not stretched, each strap measures 12 inches long. Stretched as much as I could, the straps have a length of 19 ¼ inches each. They measure ½ of an inch wide.
The dress is all black in colour and the zipper that runs down the centre front is gold coloured. I had seen Aratal’s review before I had purchased the dress and seen that she received a dress with a gold coloured zipper. The stock photo shows a silver coloured zipper, and I thought that maybe the one she received was a fluke/defect. I was really hoping for a silver coloured zipper but figured I could work with the gold colour if I had to.
The zipper runs vertically down the centre front of the dress. It runs almost the entire length of the dress. The zipper stops 7/8 of an inch below the top centre of the piece. This is the only closure to the dress. You can use the zipper when putting the outfit on or you can just pull the dress over your head and down your body. It’s stretchy so you don’t really have to use the zipper if you don’t want to.
There is no padding or underwire in the chest area of the dress. If you don’t want the outline of your nipples showing, you’ll need to wear a bra, pasties, or similar item beneath the dress.
I wear a C38 bra, my hip measurement is 41 ½ inches, I weigh in the high 160’s, and I’m 5’6” in height. The dress is so stretchy that I didn’t need to unzip the zipper to put the dress on. I just pulled it over my head and down my body. I was able to pull the outfit down so that the bottom of the dress was about 4-5 inches up from my knees. Though, as I walked around the dress would creep up. The bottom of the dress seemed to always make its way up to just right beneath the bottom of my bum cheeks. If you’re taller than me, you may want to wear the dress with opaque leggings so that nothing is exposed.
The dress wasn’t too tight or uncomfortable on me. It’s definitely “form-fitting” though. This means that the outfit is going to hug every single curve/bulge on your body whether you want it to or not. I’ve got a chunky middle area and I’m pretty insecure about it. I was horrified when I looked in the mirror. The thin material of the dress grabbed my belly and the shine of the wet-look seemed to highlight the area.
The dress is opaque so it could be worn in public. I love finding pieces that I can wear both in and out of the bedroom but this one will stay in the bedroom. Not only does the dress grab and highlight my chub but also the material is so thin that underwear lines won’t go unnoticed. I usually wear control-top pantyhose with form-fitting outfits so that my curves look a bit smoother. I can’t wear anything beneath the dress without lines showing. There’s even a little indent when I’m wearing the dress that shows where my belly button is.

The last reason why I don’t feel this outfit would work in public (for me) is the awkward zipper boners that I get. Like I mentioned, the dress creeps up on my while I walk around. Whenever the dress creeps up, the zipper area gets little bulges in it. This doesn’t happen when I just pull the dress down but it doesn’t stay down for very long. Also, it’s a lot worse when I sit down. I get this weird bulge at the zipper right near my crotch.
The quality of the dress is good. The stitching was even and there were no loose threads. The material is non-irritating to the skin. The care tag states that the dress should be hand washed and I assume line dried. The dress should not be bleached, iron, or wrung when drying.
Overall, I don’t like this dress. You really have to be secure with your body if you wear this dress because every bulge, crease, curve, and line will be revealed. Then you have to deal with the bulged areas around the zipper. I was prepared for the gold coloured zipper but it’s still disappointing that the product page shows something different. I might wear this in the bedroom for my partner every so often but I have much more flattering pieces for the bedroom that I’d choose before wearing this one.

Aw, that's too bad your zipper ended up being gold too! I'd at least prefer a silver zipper boner to a gold one, haha! Thanks for the awesome review.

Eek, I hate zipper boners! I used to cry about them when I was little and they still fill me with rage. Great review, thanks for this! I will absolutely not buy this because of the zipper.
