I'm about to turn 40. Blah! Nobody wants to get old and wrinkly. So, since my birthday happens to fall on New Years Eve AND it's the big 4-0, my husband and I decided we would be celebrating in Las Vegas this year.

As I shopped for some sexy clothes for our trip, I came across the Ruby sequin dress by Dreamgirl. Being a Mom of 3, and almost 40, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to pull off wearing something so short and sexy; but I decided to give it a try.

When the dress arrived, I removed it from its clear plastic bag and was immediately impressed with the soft satin feeling lining on the inside. I actually was expecting scratchy stitching from the sequins. I was wrong! I was excited, but nervous to try it on. I ordered a medium and was very comfortable putting the dress on.

The dress is only 29", so it barely covers the cheeks. I again began to wonder if I could go out in public and wear it, or if I would only put it on for playtime with my husband.

My husband liked the dress and felt I could get away with wearing it out on the town. So, of course, I had to go buy some sexy stilettos to go with it.

I have decided that I will wear this dress during my trip to Vegas. I haven't decided if I will wear it as a dress or wear it with leggings as a tunic. I like that it is versatile and one isn't committed to only having one use for it.

I definitely say, it's a quality made dress, and I look forward to writing a follow up review after I get to wear it out. Maybe, just maybe, I will add a picture or 2?!?!
