These little pasties are smooth to the touch and nice to look at. They feature a fuzzy little patch on the back to cover your nipples, while the sticky part surrounds it. Clean your skin off with a little rubbing alcohol before you apply the skull. It takes a little practice to get them to stick down smooth and evenly, just go slowly so you don't get any air bubbles or folds in it. Doing it this way should allow you to get a second use out of them, after peeling them off. Granted you have to wear it again relatively soon. But the adhesive on the back seems fairly sturdy.

The skull itself is fairly nice material. At first I thought it was cheap when I opened and took them out of the pack. But once you remove the paper covering the adhesive, the skull itself feels like a bit more than plastic and is not easy to tear. One thing I did not like is that the paper backing is a solid piece with a slit down the middle. This seemed to make it more difficult to easily get the skull into place without crinkling. I found that if your skin moves in the area where they are placed, they have a tendency to shift and bubble up.

I did not some mild irritation around the edges where the edge of the pasty was rubbing against my skin. There was also a mild bit of pain when pulling the skull off, due to the stickiness of the adhesive itself. While these are obviously intended to wear over the nipples I found that you can just as easily place one on your belly, buttocks, or even your shoulder to add a little spice and surprise to things. A girl could even place one on either side of her inner thighs, if she wished.
