My Thoughts Were Bigger Than My Boobs....
This was a wonderful thought on my part and maybe the results would be different if I would have gotten a smaller size. I doubt it, due to the absolute shapelessness of the chemise and the huge, billowy sleeves on the pegnoir. Straight from the 80's, this is an unflattering set for those with larger breasts and smaller frames.

Manufacturer: Fantasy Lingerie
Size: 1X
Set Includes:
--Chemise
--Robe
--Panties

Packaging:
The Pegnoir Set arrived on a white, plastic hanger with Fantasy Lingerie written on the front and was enclosed inside a plastic garment bag. The hanger is great for storing the set when it is not being worn since it has a non-slip pad on the outer edges to keep the pegnoir from slipping off the hanger.
Details:
--Panties: The Panties are a simple style with a thin band that goes over each thigh. This style does tend to look like it cuts into the skin, even though these are plenty loose on me. A g-string was advertised with this set and I received panties, I am wondering if this is the normal addition to all sizes or just the plus sizes.
There is no panty liner in these underwear. They are the same satiny material as the chemise. They have a seam in the crotch area and are trimmed with ruched, elastic lace. The same thin lace that makes up the thigh/waist band.
--Chemise: The chemise is very simple and basic. It has a slightly flared A-line skirt that is very short and the bust area is darted for shaping. There is no support and larger breasts will sag. The shoulder straps are adjustable but this just draws the material tighter over the breasts, flattening them even more. There is lace for the top 2/3 of the 'cups', and it has two buttons in the front to fasten it or leave them out. This might be cute if there were some type of support built in. The hem has a thin lace edge, which looks like every cheap slip made.
--Pegnoir: The pegnoir is gauzy and see through and is made to flow around your body. This has puffy sleeves at the shoulder--similar to ones from the 80's. There is a beautiful lace diamond inset and the sleeves flow loosely to a lace wristband. This design is very pretty if it fits, however if you get a larger size than necessary--it will drown you!! I ended up tacking the wristband up on one side to the bottom of the diamond just so I could hold a toy. These sleeves were that long and full!
Material:
The set is made of 100% Polyester. The chemise and panties are shiny, thin nylon material similar to most slips and the pegnoir is made of thin, gauzy polyester. The lace has some stretch to it, but the rest of the outfit has none, whatsoever.
This is a cool and light material for warmer weather, but I would not recommend it for wearing in the winter if your home is a bit on the cool side.
Care & Storage:
Machine wash on the gently cycle in warm water. Use a gentle detergent like Woolite or Ivory Snow. Tumble dry on low or air dry this set. I would suggest hand washing and air drying myself, the set seems to be a bit thin and gauzy for a machine and dryer.
Hang on the original hanger, it has non-slip pads to prevent the pegnoir from slipping off into the depths of your closet.
Fit:I got a super large size thinking that finally a chemise would fit my breast size. Boy was I wrong!! This outfit runs huge!! The underwear slip down with every step I take--showing more of my upper butt than necessary!! The chemise hangs loosely on me and is very unflattering and allows my breasts to sag--even more than normal? Hmmm....looks that way to me! The pegnoir looks cute now that I fixed the sleeves. I do use this for a cover on other lingerie items, especially when I need to run to the kitchen for a drink or snack. Overall--I messed up the sizing.

Follow-up commentary

This is a decent set--but make sure you get the size that fits you and be prepared for a basic and simple chemise. It is the same quality as a chemise from a box store. However, the pegnoir was a bonus! That works well as a simple cover up for other lingerie as well.
