I'm reviewing the lace up opaque thigh highs by Leg Avenue. Unfortunately, these only come in one size fits all. The nylons are black and 100% nylon. The cardboard insert with the product says that these are a are meant for those with a body of 90-160 pounds. From toe to the top of the stocking, they're 54 inches long, which would fit a wide variety of heights.

Being that I weigh 175 and have pretty thick thighs (around 30 inches around), they were a struggle to get on my legs. I usually have this problem with stockings, so I don't really blame Leg Avenue or feel it's due to a poorly made product. The stockings have a lace up back, (sort of similar to a corset), which could help with fit if they're a little bit tight on you. This is a very pretty detail.


They're made to be opaque (which I love!) but when stretched they become more sheer. On a thinner leg I am sure these would be very opaque. I attached these to a garter belt I have, and because they don't go up very high on my legs, they end up looking a little stretched out and weird:


However, I'm wearing the same stockings in the photo I have as my avatar, and as you can see, they look opaque because I'm not wearing a garter belt. If they aren't stretched too much, they are very much an opaque set of stockings! You can see the photo I'm talking about here:

These are very soft and comfortable, but snag easily. Keep them away from bra hooks or long nails. The tag says to hand wash only but you could probably wash them on gentle cycle and hang them up to dry. They look nice with a short skirt, some cute panties...or just by themselves!
