Much Sheerer Than The Stock Photo!
The Plunging Neckline Chemise and Thong by DreamGirl is not what I had expected. I feel that it would fit better on someone who is shorter than me, and with a smaller chest. It's an inexpensive piece so you won't break the bank by giving it a try, though beware: the outfit is so much more sheer than the stock photo makes it seem.

Pros
inexpensive, comfortable material, can be worn 2 ways, stretchy lace band
Cons
completely sheer, not long enough to drape, my boobs kept trying to escape, only one-size-fits-most.
The Plunging Neckline Chemise and Thong by DreamGirl is a lingerie piece available only in one-size-fits-most and in the colours black or red. I purchased the black piece.
The outfit arrived in a rectangular cardboard package. The front of the package states the company name, size, colour, and product name. The front also has a photo of a model wearing the outfit. The back of the packaging has the same information, along with a brief description of the product, care instructions, company website, and a back view of the model wearing the outfit. I personally don’t find the packaging to be idea for storage but it could be used if you really wanted to. I like to keep my little lingerie outfits like these in a drawer.
The packaging states that the one-size-fits-most is best suited for those between the weights of 90-160lbs. I’m slightly over that weight bracket, but not by much. OSFM items are hit and miss for me. I figured that the only part that really needed to stretch to fit would be the lace bottom. My partner wanted me to give it a try, so I did.
The outfit is made of 76% polyester, 20% nylon, and 4% spandex. The included thong is 100% polyester. The bottom of the outfit (the lace band) is very, very stretchy. The pieces that come from the lace band that tie around the neck are a bit stretchy, but not much. I’ve taken measurements out the outfit laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, please send me a message and I will get them for you.
Dress
Lace band width unstretched: 14 inches
Lace band width stretched as much as I could: 34 inches
Lace band length: 5 inches
Length of pieces that cover your chest (taken from lace band to bottom of neck tie: 24 inches each
Length of neck ties: 15 ½ inches each
Thong
Waistband unstretched: 12 inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 21 inches
Widest part of material that covers your front area: 4 ½ inches
Liner length: 4 inches
The 2 pieces of material that come up from the lace band to cover your chest and tie around your neck start at 1 ½ inches, and get wider down your body. Where these pieces meet the lace band, the pieces are approximately 10 ½ inches wide each. The width of the material that covers your chest will depend on your height, length of upper body, and how you choose to wear the outfit.
The outfit can be worn two ways: the neck ties can be tied regularly around your neck, or they can be criss-crossed in the front and then tied around your neck (you can see this in the photos on the product page). I preferred the criss-cross front, but that’s just because I think it looks sexier.
I have no idea how tall that model is in the stock photo but she must be shorter than me. I’m 5’6 and the outfit didn’t drape on me like it does on her. When I put the lace band over my bum and crotch area, the pieces that cover my chest didn’t seem long enough for me to be able to get the draping effect. When I looked in the mirror at how non-draping the pieces were, I seriously felt like Borat in his lime green swimsuit.
I pulled the lace band up a bit and was able to get the drape a little bit, but when I looked in the mirror, I noticed that the lace band no longer covered my crotch fully like it does for the model in the stock photo.
Another thing to note about stock photo differences… The outfit is completely sheer. In the stock photo, the chest pieces look quite dark. I assumed there would be sheerness, but not this much. It’s not an outfit that becomes more sheer as you stretch it. It’s sheer from the very beginning.

Experience
...continued
So when I had the outfit on, the lace band stayed in place quite well and did not roll or slide up my bum. This was a concern of mine before purchasing the piece. The chest pieces were just downright annoying. I wear a C cup and even the slightest move to either side would make my boobs fall out of the top. It didn’t matter how I wore the piece (criss-cross or regular) my boobs kept escaping. This may not be a problem for those with smaller chests. I suppose you could use body tape to keep the outfit in place, but we don’t have any of that here unfortunately.
The thong that is included is the same material as the chest pieces of the outfit. It’s a basic, black thong. The thong was far too small for me without cutting into my hips but usually with the OSFM items, I expect this. The thong has a lining it.
The material of the outfit is comfortable and did not bother/irritate my skin at all. The lace band at the bottom of the outfit is actually quite soft.
The care tag in the outfit says that the piece should be hand washed in cold water and line dried.
Overall, I think this piece may be better for someone who is a bit shorter than me (5’6), and with a smaller chest than me ( C), so that it actually drapes and your boobs won’t constantly be trying to escape. I’ve given the outfit a 3 out of 5 because I think it could work for certain people, but it just didn’t for me.

Follow-up commentary

I haven't worn this piece since the review. It looks silly on me and my chest cannot be controlled in the outfit. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm not sure either EdenGuy. It's been discontinued though so I'm not sure if we will see any more reviews on this piece I'm glad it's been discontinued though because that means no one will have to be disappointed with it like I was.
