More Skin!
Fence net stockings are a nice alternative to standard fishnets, with their more open look. They look nice paired with a variety of costumes and lingerie.

Pros
Variety of colors, lace top, reinforced toe, open look.
Cons
Only comes in one size.
I love to wear stockings when I dress up for sex, and I’m always looking for a new design or color. I decided on the Fence Net Stockings by Leg Avenue for their open look and stay-up design.
The stockings come in a standard hosiery plastic package with a picture of the product on the front. The package opens easily from the bottom. Inside, the stockings are sealed in plastic with the lace tops inserted end-to-end on a plastic shape keeper.
The sizing on the package indicates one size fits most, and gives a suggested weight range of 90 to 160 pounds. I’m not exactly in that range, but I thought I’d give them a go. These stockings come in a variety of colors. I chose white – not the most adventurous color, but I have a lot of black and a lot to wear with white.
The stockings have lace tops and a reinforced toe. The lace is pretty, and about 3” wide. The actual stocking is made of fence net, a larger version of standard fishnet. The diamond openings are much larger when stretched, and the net feels thicker.
Straight out of the package and un-stretched, the stockings are about 28” long from tip to toe. They should be put on by rolling down to the toe, then unrolled up the leg. This can be a bit tricky due to the holes. I found that they went up a few inches past mid thigh.
One thing that I noticed is that, because of the wide weave, these stockings don’t support as much as standard fishnet. If you have a bit of flesh on your legs you’ll notice it coming through the holes somewhat, especially on the upper leg.
The stockings stayed in place pretty well for me, although they had a tendency to slip down after a lot of movement. They also worked well with a garter belt. The lace top made it easy to attach the garter straps so the stockings would stay in place.
The stockings are made of nylon, and feel fairly strong and rip-resistant. They should be hand washed or drip dried, or they can be washed in the gentle or hand-wash cycle in the washer. These stockings will look a bit more stretched out than standard fishnet after washing and drying due to the weave.
Fence net is a great look. I’d recommend these if you’re looking for some new hosiery and want to show a little more skin.

Follow-up commentary

These stockings have held up well to numerous washings in a garment bag and drip-drying. I typically wear these with a garter to help them stay up.
My husband really likes the open weave of these, and I'd like to get them in a few more colors.

Thank you for viewing Lace top fence net stockings – hosiery review page!
Great review!
They held up great - no tears while they were on, and none when I took them off. I think the heavier weave of the fence net helps with this. Plus I've schooled my husband never to pull or try to rip my stockings. I didn't have any problems with snagging, either.
I've worn and washed these a few times so far, and no problems yet.
Thanks for the comment and questions!
I once had a pair from VS with a sticky type top but it still didn't help.
I'm not sure what brands I have with the sticky stuff, but they've worked really good for me.
