Maybe if You were Shaped Like an Upside Down Triangle?
Wow. This has got to be the worst mismatched sizing I have encountered. The top was a little big and the bottoms were so small that they needed to be worn on my low waist which made it not a skirt anymore! The sizing is so off compared to their chart that this item doesn't deserve even a middle of the road rate.

Pros
Looks cute on the model, the choker is sexy and cute
Cons
The bottoms are more like a small (0-4), the top is more like a XL, poor construction/design
Dream Girl's sizing has gotten a lot better in the past few years. Unfortunately, this two piece set is an old design and has some funky sizing. My boyfriend has wanted me to get this since we started dating. All of a sudden I could not find it in the baby pink version anywhere! I eventually gave in and decided to just get the black. I really wish I hadn't. This is the worst sizing I have seen in a while. Based on my review and another I read, I'd only recommend this if you are a medium. It sounds like the small and large are way off-but in opposite ways. Maybe the medium is perfect!?
*Contents/overview: Four pieces
The Fetish Femme Black Bra and Skirt Set from Dream Girl has four pieces:
*Halter top
*Mini skirt
*Choker
*Thong
The material is of lower quality and the construction isn't the greatest. This added to the bad sizing make this set not a winner for me.
*Material: Mediocre
The materials seem durable enough, but durable often does not mean soft or comfortable. While not super cheap, I can tell that these materials are of a lower quality. The tag says it is made of 100% polyester. I think they are leaving quite a bit out. There is mesh, satin, a bit of spandex, pleather (with a felt backing), and metal (type unknown). The majority of both main pieces is mesh and it does not stretch at all. It does breath very well though and does not hold much moisture. This would be an excellent outfit for an erotic dancer...if it fit.
*Design/craftsmanship: Decent
Overall the construction feels weak. I will start with the top. It is a halter with triangle cups. The straps are not like a string bikini. They are full straps like on a muscle tank. The cups are 6 1/2" across the bottom. They are ruched at the base and have a ribbon that goes underneath them. In between the cups is a short "belt" strap. It is held together by a buckle. The pleather piece is very flimsy so the buckle doesn't hold in it real well. There are three holes for adjustment but they are not really needed. This is because the ribbon that is under the breasts also goes around to the back. There is a lot of slack and it will accommodate very well without having to adjust the front. I suppose if you want them to be further apart for more skin, you could use the buckle adjustment for that. The halter ties behind the neck with spandex straps that are as thin as most bikini ties.
The bottom is a mini skirt. It is made in a similar way to the top - mesh is the main part and it has ribbon trim. Nothing about this skirt is stretchy, not even the top which is a ribbon for trim. A few inches below this is another tier of ribbon. Both of these ribbons buckle in the back like the top does. There are about 2" of space in the back to show your derriere free of fabric. If you don't like baring your crack, you might want to choose different panties to go with this. The bottom of the skirt is nicely ruffled and has a slight up lift.
The thong is better. It is made of the same mesh that does not stretch though. There is a thick liner on the inside. It is a g-string style with a smaller than average front. It is kind of narrow. The strings are spandex and feel strong. There are no stray strings like there are on the top and bottom.
The last piece is my favorite. A matching choker is included. It is a combination of ribbon and the same buckle that appears on the top and bottom pieces. You can wear it front ways so that the buckle is in the front, or you can turn it around and wear it so the ribbon is tied in the front. both ways are cute. It is completely adjustable.
*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash/plastic bag
The tag says to hand wash in cold water. It is also really easy to spot clean the mesh in this set. The thong can go through the washer and dryer if you use gentle and cool cycles. Because of the pleather and buckles, I'd stick to hand washing for everything else. Let it drip dry and then put it away. There are small ribbons to hang the outfit up with or you can place it in a plastic bag like the one is comes in.

Experience
*Sizing: sizing seems mismatched
Recent DreamGirl products have been fitting me very well, but there is somehting about the older ones that doesn't work well for me. They run a lot smaller and don't seem to match the sizes of similar companies.
In recent products from DG, I fit well in a medium or large depending on the style. For older ones, I fit in a large. This was not the case for this set though. The top was large, but the bottoms were so not.
It was like the top was a large or XL and the bottoms were a medium.
I weigh ~155 pounds (size 8/10); curvy but fit. The large size says it fits a 10-14 dress size, C-D cup, 36-38" bust, 28-32" waist, 38-40" hip, and 140-150 lbs. The top fit, but the bottom wasn't even close.
Let's start with the top. It fit me nicely laying flat against me for the most part. I'm a 34/36 D and even I found that larger breasts than mine would still be comfortable. They would just be covered less. Since you can tighten the band and the neck, I was able to create enough lift to feel comfortable. The band size has a huge range. Women who are even 40" will be just fine.
You really don't need to worry about the waist, but the important measurement is the hips. My hips are about 38" which is on the lower end of this chart, meaning this should fit me. Hell no. The top of the skirt had to be worn on my very low waist. Even adjusting the straps did nothing. It made the piece less table as well. It is 16 1/2" across when laid flat. I swear this won't fit anyone's hips unless they are smaller than 34". I think that is even pushing it. I measured the inside circumference (laid in an oval), on the last buckle and it was 33". The fabric does not stretch so if you are larger than 33" it will dig into you. According to the sizing chart, a 33-34" hip is a small.
The thong is okay. It dug into my hips slightly but I would still wear them. I'd say it is like a M/L. The choker is cute and comfortable. Because this set is so weird with sizing, I re-did the chart in two pieces.
MY RE-DONE SIZING CHART (for the top):
Dress: 10-16
Cup: C-DD
Band: 34 (or smaller)-40"
Waist: irrelevant
MY RE-DONE SIZING CHART (for the bottom):
Dress: 0-4
Waist: irrelevant
Hips: 31-34"
*Conclusion: 2 Stars
The sizing is so horrible that I really can't give it anything higher. I could only use half of this set so that docks it majorly. The quality isn't that great either. There are a lot of threads and the buckle design is lacking. I was very dissapointed.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
I have had quite a few friends try this on and I have yet to sell it or give it to one of them because no one fits in it well enough! I am still really disappointed about this outfit and how unmatched the sizing is.

Sorry this was such a crap fit. I'll know to avoid it.

Buying lingerie is always such a gamble but I usually have the opposite problem- bottoms that fit and tops that don't. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the review. I will have to stay away from this one, from your resizing recommendations this really is an odd combo.
