I'm reviewing the wet look skirt by Coquette. This skirt is part of a wet look line that has several pieces on EF. I'm reviewing the black; it's available in both black in red from sizes S-1X. I am reviewing the XL in black. This piece is very flashy and has a sort of fetish vibe, if that's what you're looking for.

I read on other reviews that this skirt has a very stretchy waistline, so though I'm a size 16 and very apple shaped, I went with an XL instead of 1X. The measurements for this piece for the XL are sizes 14-16 ~ 44-46 inch hips.

I wanted the skirt to be form fitting. I was surprised to discover that my choice was a good one. This skirt fits well. It does kind of bunch around my stomach, so I'd likely pair it with a corset or a shape wear top to avoid that sort of bunching. The skirt came in a plastic bag on a hanger, like most Coquette items do. The skirt has two hanger loops on it, which is handy for hanging it up.



I would suggest you store this on a hanger. The material is very wrinkle prone. It came out of the bag already wrinkled and I'm unsure how to fix that (please suggest a way in a comment if you know!). You can't iron or dry the material, or wash it in a machine. Hand wash/line dry only. Don't bleach!

This skirt is 80% nylon and 20% spandex, and 12 inches long. It definitely is very short. I would not feel comfortable wearing this in public as you couldn't bend over without exposing yourself (and a LOT of yourself). The material is very thin but isn't sheer, which is good if you don't want a see through piece. This does make for a great bedroom outfit.
