What the hell am I talking about: sexy Faberge egg? Well, they're gorgeous to look at, but I can't help but just wait until I ruin them by being a klutz.

These thigh highs are definitely quality: the silicon that keeps them from falling down is of the highest caliber I've encountered (and phthalates-free! yay!), while the nylon is comfortable and extremely sexy. But that doesn't change the fact that these are not the kind of super strong stockings that you can expect to wear during vigorous activities on a surface other than a bed.

If there are any corners, edges or other snag-able things near you (including fingernails or rings), be careful. If you want stockings to wear on stage, for a dance number or theater performance, for instance, make sure you have a back up. These look great but felt as fragile as any hose I've ever worn.

Unless, of course, you're looking for the fun fantasy of having your partner rip off your stockings. In which case, go to town.

These extreme thigh highs are easier to slip on and off than many types of hosiery: the silicon stay-up and flower pattern decoration along the top keeps them becoming another pair of balled-up stockings in your drawer. There isn't a definitive front and/or back so you can just slide them on up and rest assured they look just right. And, thanks to the comfortable silicon, they will stay where they are supposed to without a tangle of garter belts and clips.

The other obvious advantage to thigh highs, as opposed to full-length hosiery, is that it's naturally open in the crotch. No need to remove your stockings to get busy. Keep them on during play for a glam look and comfortably warm legs.

Like any pair of hosiery that stays up on its own, there are limits to its abilities. If you're physically active, especially using your quads a great deal or sliding around on some surface, they are bound to roll down some. But for your first wear at minimum, these will stay put.

If you are gentle enough on these extreme thigh highs, you can probably get more than a couple wears out of them. Washing is simple: hand wash in cold.
