Let's Go To A Rave
The Wetlook dress with hook and eye front is an edgy design that can easily fit into and fetish role playing. It's true to size with decent quality! The were a few issues like the straps needing some stitching and the length of the back. Sadly, there aren't more plus sizes for everyone to enjoy it, but it's available in sizes S-1x/2x!

Pros
Edgy design, fetish style, true to size, and decent quality.
Cons
Straps need stitching, more plus sizes, and the back is short.
Function
The Wetlook dress with hook and eye front is meant to edgy, sexy, and exotic dress. The wetlook helps give a fetish lingerie look that helps in playing the role of dominance. Depending on your opinion on how modest you like to be, this dress might not be the most appropriate to wear outside of the house unless in an adult setting. The dress is a bit on the short side, but it could be paired with leggings to make it more appropriate to wear out. As the dress is by it's self, I would not recommend wearing it in public. It's just too short.
Material
According to the tag the dress is made of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex. However, this is exclusive of the trim. The trim appears to be polyester blend material that feels like bathing suit material. There is also some woven Nylon that is similar to backpack straps. This woven Nylon holds the metal eye hooks that align the front.
The Nylon/Spandex material feels glossy and silky. There is a shine to the material, but when you stretch it and hold it up to the light; you can see thru it. The material has a decent amount of stretch to it. The inside isn't like the outside. It feels similar, but without the glossy shine.
The trim is the the straps and the trim on the top of the dress. These appear to be a polyester blend. It feels like bathing suit material. It's stretchy and feels really soft. It's definitely different from the rest of the dress.
The dress is recommended to be hand washed and line dried. You should follow the instructions on this one. I recommend picking up some Dona Lingerie Wash. My favorite scent is the Acai. I full up my bath tub and combine all like colors of garments in the tub. Add some of the wash (about 3-4 table spoons) and allow them to soak for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse and hang them on hangers. It's the easiest way to hand wash.
Design
The dress starts off with two thin spaghetti type straps stitched on the front and back of the top. The top of the dress is wrapped in a broader of the same material the straps are made of. The front and the back are basically level, so the front or the back doesn't show more or less then the opposite side. The back of the dress is completely solid wetlook. There is no design or anything to it. There are seams down the sides of the dress to separate the front and back. Now, the front is where the design comes into play. The front of the dress is split at the cleavage with 16 eye hooks. These eye hooks are secured onto the dress with woven nylon. The 16th eye hook lines up with my belly button. After the 16th eye hook there is a seam that goes horizontal from side seam to side seam to mark a skirt. From this seam to the bottom of the dress there are 8 eye hooks on the right side and 8 eye hooks on the left side. These line up with my thighs. Back to the seam that marks the skirt is a fake belt. This belt goes from side seam to side seam and is level with the seam that marks the skirt. In the middle of this fake belt is a metal buckle with a prong. On the fabric of the belt there is a single hole to hook the buckle to the fabric. You can't adjust this belt at all. The edge of the skirt is the wet look material folded and stitched.
Measurements of the garment (taken laid flat)
Length 23" (Top of Bust to bottom of dress)
Straps 18" total (from front to back)
Bust, Waist 16.5" - 21"
Hips 19" - 23"
Quality Good
The quality is pretty good. The only thing that really needs some reinforcement are the straps. After the first time I stepped into the dress and pulled it up; the stitching came loss on the straps. Now it's fraying. I'll have to have my mother in law fix it for me. I'm and not good at sewing myself, so she does all that stuff for me. Otherwise, the quality is good.

Experience
Size
This dress is available in sizes S-1x/2x, and there is an XL too. There is only one color option, but there are other pieces you might want to check out in the Darque Collection.
I have ordered the XL. My size ranges from a L-1x/2x depending on the company. Usually, I go with the larger size because being so broader line to the size chart; I'd rather have it be a little big then too small. The XL is said to fit dress size 14 - 16, cup size D, Bust 42 - 44, Waist 34 - 36, and Hips 44 - 46.

Personal Fitting
I'm please to tell you this does fit me! I was so worried because from past experiences Coquette isn't always friendly to the busty or the plus size. However, the stretchy material helps it actually fit. There is no support to this dress, so you will want to wear it with something to provide support. A strapless bra might be the best option, but those usually don't work well for me. So, I just use a regular bra. I don't mind the straps showing. If you want to avoid showing the straps and still want max support; you can pair this dress with a body stocking like I did in the picture. I happen to think this pairs ever so nicely. I am wearing the Lace Long Sleeved Body Stocking. It looks really awesome with this dress.
I do think that this dress is somewhat unflattering. When I look down at myself I feel very round and smashed! I think this is just the form fitting going on with the material and the shine. I'm not positive though. Perhaps I am the only one who actually sees it. I do feel very sexy in this piece especially when I pair it with the Sheer Contrast Cuban Heel Stockings.
My main issue with this dress is the length in the back. As you can see in my photo, my cheeks are exposed! It rides up and you can see my ass. This is an issue for those who want to wear it out and about. I recommend paring it with some leggings.

Overall ★★★★
I'm giving this dress four stars. I never plan to wear it outside of the house and I didn't plan that when putting in for the assignment. So, it's not a total disappointment that it's short. The quality of the dress is great. And it's overall a really nice piece to add to my collection. My hubby is happy with it. He actually likes it more then the Wetlook Halter Dress. But I think he is insane because that dress is smoking!
