One of the most surprising things about the "Fetish Honeycomb Bustier Set" by Escante is its level of comfort. It's more like wearing pajamas than lingerie. Nothing pokes, prods, or otherwise rudely insists on making sure that you are aware of its existence every minute that its on.
That comfort largely stems from its materials for the honeycomb portion, 94% Nylon and 6% Elastane (the European name for Spandex). The shiny part on the top and bottom is a glazed Polyester and feels similar to the Wetlook fabric. It's thin and soft on the inside.
Now, I normally ignore the cleaning instructions and toss things into the wash in a delicate bag. But since this set is sooo Polyester and the netting so easy to snag, that wouldn't be a good idea. The instructions say to hand wash by itself in cold water and then let hang dry. Following these instructions, it's held up well with no ill effects.
The set arrived in a plastic dry cleaning style bag and a plastic hanger:
The three piece set comes with the bustier with four detachable garters, a g-string, and a pair of black thigh-highs. The g-string are a standard thin, black pair. They're not particularly sturdy, but should hold up for a few wearings. The thigh highs were very cheap and thin, so I ditched them since already have nicer quality ones.
Nylons in packaging:
Based on sizing issues from other reviewers, I ordered a size up than what normally would, a 1x rather than a large. It was a a gamble that largely paid off. It fit better in the breasts, but was a little looser in the torso than I'd like.
Sizing guide:
All measurements were taken while lying flat. Due to the elasticity of the honeycomb and Wetlook fabric, there's a lot of give.
The bustier is nicely made for its price. The seams are all straight and there are no loose threads hanging around. The top portion is a halter/swimsuit style. It doesn't provide a lot of breast support, but that's to be expected since there's no under-wire or boning. It's made of the shiny Wetlook fabric. The fabric continues on into the straps, which make it look nicely cohesive. You can adjust them in the back through a metal ring. It's hard to do while on since you can't see/reach, but easy ahead of time. The only downside with this style strap is that unlike a normal halter that can untie, it's difficult to pop your breasts out during sex. The girls have to stay underneath the whole time.
It opens in the front with eleven stylized metal hooks that run all the way down. They stick and are a pain to undo, so I instead put it on over my head and wiggle in. The determination of the hooks to stay put though is a great bonus once it's on. There's nothing more annoying than being in lingerie or shirts that unhook randomly. It kills the look and is a hassle to keep redoing, so I'm excited by how strong these hooks hold. On each side of the hooks are the soft honeycomb netting, going all the way around. The honeycomb itself is more like little eye shapes than the normal octagonal design. It's made by horizontal waves, like '~~', sewn together at the highest points.
After the honeycomb, it goes back to the opaque fabric for two inches. It's nice since that bridges the awkward stomach gap area that a lot of lingerie leaves, as well as gives support for the netting so that it doesn't scrunch up anywhere. Along the bottom of the piece are four hidden bands for the detachable garters. It can be worn with or without them, but looks best with them on so that it can stretch the netting.
