Pros
Very easy to clean. Comfortable to wear.
Cons
Button loops are hard to work.
This pretty Chiffon Peignoir Set by Fantasy Lingerie includes the long-sleeved peignoir, a satin and lace chemise, and satin bikini-style panties. The peignoir slips on like a bath robe, and is accented with lace. The chemise has floral lace at the breasts with three satin buttons down the center, and super soft spaghetti straps that are adjustable. The panties are trimmed with small gathered lace around the waist and legs, giving them a dainty feminine look.
The peignoir and chemise are put together with finely-sewn serger seams that have no frays or loose threads, and you can barely feel those seams when you're wearing them. The raw edge of the chemise's satin is exposed where it meets the breast lace, but even after multiple washings it never showed any signs of fraying. The buttons felt a little wobbly, but since they have nothing to attach to but lace I don't see how the manufacturer could have avoided that and they do stay on even if you tug them.
All three pieces are made of 100% nylon, but there is a difference in the look and feel. The chemise is a semi see-through glossy nylon satin that is cool and smooth to the touch. It's cut to form with your body, and the satin flows nicely as you move. The lace at the breasts isn't the softest I've ever felt, but it's comfortable and it has a bit of stretch to it to accommodate different breast sizes.
The peignoir is extremely see-through and somewhat stiff to the touch, but not really scratchy. It's not as soft as silk chiffon, but it's still comfortable and weighs next to nothing. It drapes gracefully no matter how you move and, in spite of how thin it is, feels pretty durable overall. The whole outfit moves with you and stretches a bit too so it never feels restrictive in any position, and it's so lightweight that it would be comfortable even on those hot summer nights.
There is no lining in either the peignoir or the chemise, but in this case it's a good thing because a lining would have ruined the sexy sheer quality of the outfit. There is no cotton liner in panty crotch either though, which some women prefer.
The sizing for the Chiffon Peignoir set seems to run a bit small. Fantasy Lingerie says their size Small is for women who wear clothing sizes 6-8, have a 35-37" bust, and a 37.5-39.5" hip. I only wear a size 2-4 in clothing, and have roughly a 33" bust and hip measurement, but I decided to take a gamble and order their size Small anyway and it all fit fine. The sleeves of the peignoir were not ridiculously loose, the chemise was still form-fitting and came just below my buttocks, and the panties fit perfectly.
Since everything does stretch a fair bit, I'd wager that if you are at the smaller end of one of their size ranges then it would be accurate. However, if you're at the upper end of a range it would probably be a good idea to order a size up for comfort.
Even the most self-conscious woman should feel comfortable wearing this peignoir set, because it would be flattering to a wide variety of body shapes. One thing I really like is how easy it is to adjust the straps of the chemise. The bra slides are on the back, but it was still easy to reach around under my arm and just give them a tug to adjust them where I needed to. On the negative side, the buttons at the breast are somewhat difficult to undo, so they serve more as decoration that anything else. It's very easy to slip the chemise on and off without using them though.
All of the pieces of this lingerie set can be machine washed (cold water only), and then line dried. You may want to put it in a pillow case or lingerie bag before washing, not because the set doesn't feel durable, but just to eliminate the possibility of any snags or of the spaghetti straps getting trapped in the machine. I did three 'test washes' on my set, and everything held up just fine, with nothing coming loose and no fraying. It was also impressive how quickly it all dried just by hanging it on the shower rod.
I can't imagine what use outside of the bedroom one might have for the peignoir, but the chemise could comfortably be worn under a dress, and then revealed later in the evening to surprise your partner. I hesitate to suggest wearing the panties long-term though because, as I said before, there is no cotton lining in the crotch and this can cause problems for some women.

Experience
Michele says:
I really like this set in general. The peignoir is good for that initial impact when you're first entering the bedroom and want to get a reaction out of your partner, particularly if you let it hang off of your shoulders a bit, but it's not thick enough for much else. The chemise, on the other hand, is what I consider to be practical lingerie, because it's comfortable enough to sleep in every night, and it is still sexy all by itself. I won't be stuffing this one in a drawer and waiting for some special occasion to wear it! My one and only complaint is with the bikini panties; the lace around the leg holes wasn't as soft as the lace on the rest of the outfit, so it did chafe me a bit. I just substitute a white cotton thong for them though and the outfit looks just as nice.
Oh! Something else worth mentioning is that, there is a tag sewn into one side seam of the chemise and another in one seam of the peignoir. They aren't uncomfortable at all, but they are visible since the outfit is nearly see-through, so you might want to take them out. Just snip them off close to the seam, and voila!
Alan says:
This outfit is a turn on for me. I can very clearly see the whole outline of her body, but not in exact clarity, so it's a tease. Sort of like when a woman's wearing a summer dress and she stands just so in the sunlight so you get a peek of what's there. Sexy. The only thing I can say bad about it is the buttons are literally useless if you've got some breast play in mind. They used miniature loops of stretchy thread for the button holes and I had to really work to get one loose. After that first one I gave up and just pulled the whole thing off up over her head. Michele had a lot of trouble getting that button back in its loop later too.

The peignoir would probably be very scratchy if it weighed anything, but it's so lightweight that it isn't bothersome.
Hope this helps
