It'd be sexy, if it didn't stink!
I had such high hopes for this dress, but in the end? I don't think it's worth the $34.99. Perhaps my opinion would be different if the dress didn't smell so bad, and if the shoulder straps weren't so uncomfortable. On the plus, the dress is pretty sexy, if you can find a way to get rid of that awful scent.

Pros
Sexy design, Comfortable, Breathable
Cons
It actually smells, Fraying, Lots of loose threads, Cheap lacing, Shoulder straps are uncomfortable
I bought this dress with the intention of wearing it for a sexy night out. I had the delivery set up so that this would arrive the day that I intended to wear it. I got lucky; the package arrived 2 hours before I was planning on the sexy night out. Or at least I thought I got lucky... that feeling of luck faded as soon as I took the dress out. You see, the dress smelled HORRIBLE. I don't know how to describe it, but I took it out and thought: "get this thing away from me"... But then I decided to try it on. All in all, it was really sexy, though not quite as I expected. The smell though... that just ruins it. I've tried everything I can think of, and I still can't get that strong, terrible scent to fade. Luckily, however, the scent doesn't seem to transfer onto other things, so everything else I ordered with the dress smells just fine. It's just this particular dress that absolutely stinks.
Anyway, on with the review!
Basics:
This dress is made by Coquette. It doesn't come with any matching undergarments, but I didn't expect it to. The dress is currently only available in black, though I kind of wish it came in a few other colors.
Material & Care:
The tag states that this item is made out of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex, exclusive of the decoration. I am assuming the decoration refers to the shoelace-like lacing that is found on both the front and back of the dress.
The outside of the material is the shiny, wetlook material. The wetlook material is accented by a softer, matte material. The softer, matte material is what covers the under bust seam, and covers the plastic boning.
The shiny wetlook material is incredibly sleek to the touch -- almost slippery, in fact. It's also very opaque, even when stretched to the maximum. Speaking of stretch, this dress does stretch a great deal. The material is also very breathable and flexible, which was somewhat surprising.
You should keep in mind that the material is designed to cling to your body, so it won't hide any flaws that you may think you have.
The inside of the dress is made of a softer material. It's very comfortable against my skin, as it doesn't itch or irritate at all.
The shoestring like lacing found on the dress is incredibly cheap, and it just looks awful. The lacing's not a huge deal though, as it'll be easy enough to replace that with another ribbon or string.
This dress should be handwashed only, and then hung to dry.
Sizing:
This dress is currently only available in three sizes: small, medium, and large. I chose to purchase this dress in the large.
According to the size chart, a large should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cups: C
Bust: 38-40"
Waist: 30-32"
Hips: 40-42"
I have a 32" waist, and 40" hips. I also wear a 34d bra (most of the time). As you can see, my cup size is off the chart, whereas my waist is right on the end. My hips are on the lower of the end of the size chart.
All in all, this dress fit me well, but I don't believe it would fit anyone larger. For the cups, anything larger than a firm C is probably pushing it. I felt like I was going to burst out of the cups when I tried it on, but that's not a big deal as I can just use this dress for sexy time at home (if I can ever get rid of that smell!).
The waist and hip area of the dress did fit me well, but I felt like it was very tight. Getting into the dress was a bit of a challenge, but once it was on it fit fine. I just don't feel that it would comfortably accommodate anyone with larger hips.

Experience
Design:
The design of this dress is quite sexy.
Let's begin with the top of the dress. The bust does not feature underwire or padding, so it doesn't offer a whole lot of bust support. It's also impossible to wear a bra with this dress, as the both the front and the back are basically open. The seam going under the bust does provide a hint of support.
The lacing between the cups comes down further in person than it does in the stock photo. It's basically wide open throughout the entire bust area, but the fabric does cover your breasts... just not your cleavage. For private fun, the open look is sexy, but I think it's a bit too revealing to wear in public.
The back of the dress is cut extremely low, and then there is the lacing that goes down to the waist. The lacing on both the front and back is woven through little silver colored eyelets.
The front of the dress also features plastic boning. The plastic boning is flexible, but it's still flattering. Two piece of boning are found on the front, right around the lacing. One piece of boning is found on each side of the dress, and three pieces of boning are found on the back.
One problem that I have with the top of the dress is the way that the shoulder straps sit. You can kind see in the photo that the shoulder straps are just a little too far toward the front of the dress. I think that this is due to how lowcut the back is. The straps look okay, but they feel a bit uncomfortable.
The lower half the dress is the skirt. I like that the skirt portion appears separate from the top, due to the seams and boning. The skirt clings to the top of my butt, but then it sort of flares out a little. it looks very sexy in person. I also love that the skirt features two little slits; one is found on each side of the dress.
Length wise, the dress is great. I'm 5'6", and this comes to a little below mid-thigh length.
Packaging:
This dress arrived packaged on a plastic hanger, with a plastic bag over it. There is also a hang tag attached to the dress with a little black safety pin. The hang tag features photos of a gorgeous model wearing the dress. The hang tag also provides little symbols that detail how to care for the dress, but it doesn't offer any information about the dress beyond that.
Quality:
Honestly, for $34.99, I was disappointed. The shoulder straps are sewn poorly, with several areas that just look a bit strange. There are also tons of loose threads. The lacing was also fraying when I first received the piece. When you combine the quality with the terrible smell, I'm just not very impressed.
Still, I give it a 2, simply as I do feel it's a sexy piece... just not a good one.

Follow-up commentary
19 days after original review
The smell hasn't gone away completely, but it has faded slightly. I have washed it at least a dozen times using the strongest scented soaps I can find. Hopefully in time it will fade completely... but at least now it doesn't make me want to gag every time I go near it.
