Intersecting Lines Are Cool
The Striped Jacquard Pantyhose by Baci are a great pair of pantyhose whether you are going to wear them beneath a skirt in public, in the bedroom, or with a costume. The pattern to the pantyhose is nice, they are comfortable, and they're stretchy so they fit my XL legs. They fit me well and I'll definitely be wearing them again soon.

Pros
inexpensive, stretchy, comfortable, neat pattern, control top.
Cons
toe reinforcement is rather thin, not available in larger sizes.
The Striped Jacquard Pantyhose by Baci are available only in one-size-fits-most. I’m a size XL with thick legs and thighs but I’ve had good experiences with the Baci pantyhose in the past. I really liked the pattern on these pantyhose so I decided to give them a try.
The pantyhose arrived in a thin rectangular cardboard box. The front of the packaging has a photo of a model wearing the pantyhose, and states the company website. The back of the packaging has a back view of the model wearing the pantyhose, states the product name, size, material composition, and care instructions. Personally, I don’t find the packaging ideal for storing the pantyhose but I suppose you could if you wanted to. I prefer keeping my pantyhose in my sock/stockings drawer.
Inside of the box packaging, the pantyhose are wrapped around a thin piece of cardboard and surrounded by plastic. The pantyhose are 95% nylon and 5% spandex. Like most stockings, they are extremely stretched in width and length. I’ve taken measurements of the pantyhose laying flat. I’ve noted which measurements are stretched and which are not. If you need additional measurements let me know and I can get them for you.
Waistband unstretched: 8 ¼ inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 25 ½ inches
Waistband length: 1 ¼ inches
Length of pantyhose unstretched: 38 inches
Length of pantyhose stretched as much as I could: well over 60 inches
The funky pattern of the pantyhose makes them great to be worn for everyday public wear, bedroom wear, or as an accessory to a costume. I purchased them to wear out in public beneath a skirt. The pattern to the pantyhose is both vertical and horizontal lines that intersect.
The top part of the pantyhose is a solid black colour. This solid coloured area is the top 9 inches of the pantyhose when unstretched. The more you need to stretch this area, the more sheer it becomes. The waistband is a double layer of material and is thick compared to the rest of the pantyhose. Beneath these top 9 inches is the lined pattern and this part of the pantyhose is sheer.
The toe area of the pantyhose is reinforced but barely. The toe area reinforcement is thin. Thank goodness I just cut my toenails to a bare minimum because if I hadn’t, I probably would have torn the reinforcement area right open. The pantyhose do not have a lining in the crotch area.
I’m 5’6 in height and the length of the pantyhose worked well for me. The top of the pantyhose is “control top”. Basically what this means is that it is supposed to provide extra support for your bum and tummy area. When I have a lengthy pair of pantyhose (regardless if they are “control top”) I usually pull the pantyhose a bit above my belly button to make my hips and tummy look smoother beneath my outfit. I didn’t find these pantyhose to be any different than a regular pair of pantyhose when it comes to controlling these areas.
The waistband and width of the pantyhose fit me well. Like I had mentioned, I have thick thighs and I am wide at the hips. The waistband stretched to fit well without leaving me feeling constricted. I would feel comfortable wearing these pantyhose all day/evening. The material to the pantyhose was very soft against the skin. I have no complaints of skin irritation.
When putting the pantyhose on, you’ll need to make sure that the lines are vertical on your leg rather than squiggly. Also, you’ll want to be very careful when putting the pantyhose on, as the patterned area of the pantyhose is really thin material. The potential to snag any stockings is high, but the patterned part of these pantyhose is extra thin. Below are two photos of me wearing the pantyhose; the first is a side view and the second is a front view.
The packaging states that the pantyhose should be hand washed separately in cold water and line dried. The pantyhose should not be bleached. I suggest storing the pantyhose out of pets reach if you have any. My cat was sitting on my lap when I opened the packaging and the pantyhose acted like a magnet to her hair.
Overall, I’m happy with these pantyhose. They fit well, they’re comfortable, and I really like the pattern. I’ve deducted one star from their rating because the toe reinforcement really isn’t as good as it could be.

These are really neat, but again, seem to be a bit high maintenance to make sure all the lines are straight. Cute shoes
