I'm Swimming In The Cups?!?
The Darque corset is a fetish look corset that runs true to size. It has sizes S-1x/2x with XL and 1x/2x being their own sizes! There is room for large breast in this corset, which isn't something you find with all lingerie. Sadly, there seems to be too many cons. There is no modesty panel, so you back is exposed completely. The plastic boning doesn't allow for it to be form fitting, so it won't tuck or be flattering. Plus, the corset is short.

Pros
Fetish look, true to size, room for large breast, available in majority of sizes.
Cons
No modesty panel, not form fitting, doesn't tuck, short, and unflattering.
Function
The Darque corset is a fetish look corset that could add to your BDSM role playing or just be a sexy corset you wear on a regular basis. Depending on how modest you like to be; this corset could be worn in public, but for myself it's more for the bedroom. This corset needs a skirt, pair of legging, or any other bottoms that are similarly designed. The best match I have found is the Wetlook Gathered Skirt.
Material and Care
According to the tag (located on the right side, but on the back.) This is made of 100% Polyurethane. This is exclusive of the trim. There is silk ribbon for the lace up ties. Some metal Busk closure, buttons, and rings for the lacing. The corset has some stitched in plastic boning also. There are also two different polyester materials stitched inside the corset, so the material is comfortable to wear.
The Polyurethane material is the wetlook material. It's shiny with a glossy appearance. There is some stretch to it, but if you pull too much it will rip! It feels like plastic. The only thing I can think of to compare it to is the inside of lunch boxes. (I am talking about the cloth lunch boxes or bags.) It does look somewhat cheap, but I think trying this corset on changed my overall opinion about it in general. The silk ribbon feels like any other silk ribbon and the same with the metal on this corset. The plastic boning is flimsy and bends in every direction you make it. This isn't going to be good for holding anything in. The two internal materials, I believe to be polyester blends, are to make the corset comfortable for the user. The first material lines the cups of the corset. This feels like the padding that is inside of bras! The other material lines the rest of the corset. It feels like the outside of lunch boxes or swishy pants.
The tag says this should be hand washed and line dried. I don't recommend bleaching, wring, or putting this in the machine. You should do exactly what the tag says. I use my Dona Lingerie Wash for all my hand washing garments. I find it's the easiest way to wash the garments. I combined like colors in the bath tub and full it until all the garments are covered. Add 3-4 TBSP of lingerie wash and allow them to soak for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse and hang your garments to dry. It's that easy!
Design
The corset starts off with halter straps that close with four metal clamp buttons. These straps are stitched to the top of the cups. There is a seam to separate the top of the cups and these straps. The cups can be adjusted using the front lace up. There are three metal rings to place the silk ribbon lace to lace up the bust area. Inside these cups are aligned with padding. On the side (right about arm pit level) are the two ribbon loops to hang your corset. Under the cups starts the Busk Closure. Busk closures are used to keep the corset upright. This is done by having a metal stick with all the 4 tabs on it and another metal stick with the 4 hooks on it. Next to this busk closure on each side is some plastic boning. Under the cups and directly in the middle is another piece of plastic boning. There is also some on the side of the hips and two pieces on each side of the back next to the lace up closure. The back is made up of 10 metal rings to lace up the back with the silk ribbon. Inside the corset is lined with a polyester material to make it more comfortable.

Quality
The quality is okay. I'm not overly impressed. I have a few areas where the stitching is completely loose. Also it's fraying in some areas too. I've seen worse, but I have seen better too!

Sizing
According to the size chart the 1x/2x should fit those dress size 18 - 22, cup size D, bust 46 - 50, waist 38 - 42, and hips 46 - 52. And the XL is said to fit dress size 14 - 16, cup size D, bust 42 - 44, waist 34 - 36, and hips 44 - 46.

Cups DDD or larger (I've been having some swelling going on. I'm needing to get sized.)
I ordered the 1x/2x in hopes that I wouldn't have an issue with the bust area. However, I should have ordered the XL. The 1x/2x is far too big for me. I'm literally swimming in the cups. The hip area bows out too much. And the waist part doesn't fit my waist size, so it makes me look the same size in all three areas. I have adjusted the lace up many times and can't get it right for this piece to fit me perfectly. I also notice I pull it down often. It is a little on the short side, but not a lot. I find if I pull the wetlook gathered skirt up to high waisted; it looks better paired with this corset. I could send this back for the XL, but honestly I'm not sure I want to. I might just give it away.
Size chart true to size! Order your usual size unless you are small busted. Then you will want to order a size down. The back closure will allow you to fit comfortably.

I'm giving this corset 3 stars. It wasn't flattering on me. There is no reason why my DDD's should be swimming in the cups like they were; even with ordering a size larger. The lacing was the worst thing ever for me. I had the hardest time lacing it just to get the corset on. I re did the lacing completely 3 times before I got it on and still had to redo it a few more times. And when I do have it on, my whole back is exposed because there is no modestly panel. The busk closure in the front never stays closed. If you move, bend, or sit they pop open! It's frustrating. The corset is short! My belly and hips poke out the bottom sometimes. I debated on giving it 2 stars, but I'm thinking that is a little unfair since I ordered the wrong size.
