Summary
Attention all school girls, nurses, and referees! You costume can't be complete without these! Not only are these knee-high stockings suitable for several different sexy costumes, but they're also perfectly suitable for tons of other occasions! They're more than just a fancy dress-up item. They're practical unlike your fishnets and lace topped thigh-highs. Comfortable, versatile, and well-made. What more could you ask for? Oh, yes, they're a steal, too. All your bases are covered! Why don't you have these in your hands yet?
Material/Design
These are made completely of nylon, but they're actually quite resilient and thick. You'd really have to try to put a run or a hole in these. Even though they're thick, they're really comfortable. Sometimes nylon stockings can be a little scratchy even with the thinnest material. These aren't in the least. They're smooth to the touch and not the least bit itchy. The nylon is quite stretchy, but not in a binding way. It's quite form fitting. When you take them off they retain their original shape so you don't have to worry about them getting super stretched out.
These do say that they're opaque, but they aren't totally. If I had to rate the sheerness on a percentage scale, these would be at about a 10%. This is only when you look close, though. With darker colors this may be more apparent, but with the white one's it's really not an issue unless you have a darker complexion. Even then it's still part of the charm, really. It lets the band at the top of the stockings show through for a little added detail.
From a design perspective, they're quite simple. They're much like thin knee-high socks in look and feel. There's a seam in the toes and the rest is completely smooth. The more solid nylon band at the top is about 1 1/2" wide, and this prevents them from digging in to the calf and creating unsightly ditches in your legs. It's not the stretchiest band in the world, but this is nice because it cuts down on any constriction of the leg while still keeping them in place.
Wearability
These stockings have to be the most comfortable and versatile pair I own (and I own mountains of them). They've even made their way into my everyday sock stash. They're great when paired with heels, especially wonderful for wearing with knee-high boots, fit several different outfits, and they're even a perfectly good part of loungewear. Sometimes when it's a little chilly I'll throw these on and go walking about the house. The only real problem with the white ones is that they do tend to show dirt on them, but they always manage to get pretty clean.
Sizing
There are usually two kinda of sizing that you run into with stockings like these. You get "one size fits most" and "plus size". These would fall under the OSFM category. I have tiny little legs and can barely ever get stockings to stay up, but these manage to work for me unlike most others. The band isn't too loose but has a lot of room to comfortably stretch, as do the stockings. As for height, I'm 5'5 and these work great. If you're over 5'8 they might not come totally up to where you'd want them to, but they will work. Again, the nylon has a lot of stretch to it. I would say that these would work for women who are a size 0-10/ Of course you have to take your leg size into consideration. I have small calves and these work, but they should also work for those with calves up to about 16-17" before they end up getting too right.

Experience
Care
Normally nylon stockings are supposed to be hand washed in cold water. These have accidentally made their way into my washing machine a couple of times because they always hang out with my socks and they've come out perfectly fine. I did manage to save them from the dryer. The heat from it will end up ruining the nylon and you'll be off to buy another pair. So, wash them in cold water. If you happen to end up with them in the wash they should be perfectly fine. It's best to let them air dry. Nothing too complicated here!
