Halt in the name of love!
Overall, I'm in love with this corset! The only thing I would change is of course, whalebone boning or something stronger. I love the hot pink and black combo and the asymmetrical bow is a total cute addition to it. I feel comfortable enough wearing this in and out the bedroom!

Pros
Gorgeous color, soft touch, lace up for the tightest fit
Cons
Plastic boning will bend, doesn't completely cinch, bow seems flimsy
Yay, new corset, new corset! When I saw this baby from Coquette, I just knew I had to have it! I'm a girly girl and absolutely in love with hot pink. So this is the halter strap corset, it is available in sizes S, M, L, XL and 1x/2x. The only color available of this is hot pink/black. It is actually called fuschia in the product description but it really looks hot pink to me.
Perhaps it is the flash but even in other pictures it doesn't look as rich and berrylicious as it does on the model. So, let's get the cons out of the way first. My first con which you guys probably know if you wear corsets is the boning. There are 12 panels of boning, they are 15 inches long, until the sides where they are about 1.3 inches longer.
The boning is of course, plastic which means that it will shape and cinch but if you're out of shape or have love handles, this corset will bend and your love handles will protrude very awkwardly. So before I show you the cute pictures, here is the ugly back truth. 'Scuse me while I cry in the corner. So, this is after only a couple wears of it and each time I can normally straighten them back out. (I sometimes put heavy books on them) but each time I put it back on, my rolls and muffin top contorted the corset until it looked like this. Needless to say, if I WERE to wear this outside, I would be wearing a bolero or shrug with it. No way in hell I would be caught outside looking like some sausage getting squeezed to death. Another issue I had, was the bow. I normally am a big fan of bows, they are so adorable to me. However, I wish in the picture the model's hair was out of the way cause I assumed there was a bow on each strap, but there is not. So, this is a asymmetrical design and I know some crazy people (like my sister) who cannot tolerate that so there's your warning. The other (maybe positive) thing about the bow is, it is sewn on very flimsy. My bow you could obviously tell it was a last second detail and sometimes wavers crookedly. If you like the bow (which I do) stitch the bow on there tighter (I have a mom for that). If not, you could easily snip that thread holding it and it wouldn't affect the corset.
Coquette's sizing chart for 1x/2x:
Dress size: 18-22
Cup size: D
Bust size: 46-50 (inches)
Waist: 38-42 (inches)
Hip: 46-52 (inches)
Me:
Cup size: D
Bust size: 47 inches
Waist: 46 inches
Hips: 56 inches
Ahhh, girl look at that body! Ahhh, I work out! Sexy and I know it! Okay so frontside isn't doing too bad. I'm a D cup and it keeps my girls in place quite nicely without shoving them into my face or suffocating me. Because of my wider hips and waist, it's safe to say that's probably where the muffin top came from and that's why the bunched up issue is happening. Regardless, I think this is a gorgeous piece to wear. I've already worn it out once but I did wear it with a shrug and I was complimented all night. I absolutely love the way pink looks against my skin tone. I do love the halter straps on the corset, but they were a bit too baggy on me. Each strap was about 10 inches long and had two hook and eye clasps like a bra would in the back. Very comfortable, not irritating at all. This corset is very soft to the touch. There are 14 hook and eye latches going down the torso of the corset.

Experience
Another additional feature to this lovely corset is the removable garter straps. In your package, they come in a small plastic bag. There is a set of four and if you were to use them they would simply loop and hook in their designated places on the underside of the corset. I, for one use a garter belt and stockings from another retailer cause I find the removable ones to never feel sturdy enough. My thighs are a bit too large for these, my upper thigh circumference is 34 inches (real thunder thighs over here) but these garters are adorable, soft and classic black to be a subtle but very sexy accent to your corset. To apply garters, I find it easiest to put the corset on first then try putting on the garters. If possible, pull up the stockings and then apply the back clamps to your stockings. This may be a bit difficult but if you use a chair and mirror, this can be done. It would be easier if you had help, but sometimes help isn't available. Then after you get the back ones set, the front ones should be a snap.
