Great Value
This black babydoll by Dreamgirl is a really great value and can stretch to fit many sizes, but beware if your chest is not average sized. It's comfortable and conservative while still showing off a little ass and titties!
Published:
Pros
comfortable, cost, well made, provides coverage, good length
Cons
halter and triangular top will make small breasts flat and large breasts pop out, no support
This is an opaque babydoll by Dreamgirl, in black. It is not sheer at all, and provides a lot of coverage, so shy people or those who are looking for a great lounge piece will be really satisfied with this babydoll. This is not for those who really want to show off, aside from the bit of ass that is revealed. If you have large breasts, you will get a lot of cleavage. However, it could go the opposite route and give you quadraboob so beware! Also, be aware that this has no underwire. It has no support other than an elastic band that helps to hold up the babydoll and give it shape. It is 90% polyester/10% spandex and is to be handwashed in cold water and line dried. I haven't washed it yet, but I don't anticipate any problems doing so. There isn't much to snag on this piece, so if it was put on a gentle cycle in a washing machine it would probably come out fine. Definitely don't dry it, though.
It feels really nice. I haven't noticed any loose strings and it has a really nice feel to it. It is very soft and smooth, not itchy at all aside from perhaps the halter ties. Those would be nicer if they were a bit smoother. I could definitely wear this for a long period of time without wanting to rip it off. In fact, as I tend to do when I review lingerie, I'm wearing the piece now and I'm really comfortable. The material reminds me of a very thin wetsuit, but it doesn't look like that. It looks like a slip, almost.
This is really a very basic piece. Other than the ruffles made of fishnet on the very bottom (only in the front, not the back) and on the triangle-shaped cups, it is just a plain, solid black halter babydoll. It's by no means a show stopper, though it could be on someone else I'm sure. I did not buy it for the purpose of it being drop-dead-sexy or anything, so I am not disappointed by that. It is one size fits all, and it stretches a lot since there is an elastic band. I wear a 32C, and it stretches enough to fit another one of me into this elastic band, so I think it would fit a variety of sizes. If you have a long torso or a rounder middle this piece will be shorter on you, but I'm about 5'3" and 110 pounds and it's length showed about a couple inches of ass as you'll see in the pictures. I fit into the cups perfectly, but a larger bust would probably get some nice cleavage I don't get with this piece. Very small breasts will just look flat in this, as they would in most halter tops with this top style.
I think this is really comfortable to lounge in or even to use as a cover up at a beach, especially with the type of material it is. It's cool and breathable. Overall, I think that, for $15, you're not going to find something better than this. It wouldn't be my style at all, but other women may even like this as a shirt, and it covers enough that you could definitely use it for that. I would consider using it to do some yardwork in the summer, but with the lack of support, and not enough coverage to wear a strapless bra, I would not go out in it. It's really comfortable, and if you prefer babydolls that are not sheer you've got a really great option here with an awesome price tag. It seems well made, and I didn't have any loose strings when I received it.

Experience
I really like this piece for it's comfort and it's price. I think there's a lot of bang for your buck. I'd prefer if it was more revealing or had more detail, but that's what I buy other lingerie for. It's true to the item description aside from the ruffles not covering the entire triangle tops as they do in the EF picture. You can see how they really look in my pictures. The only picky thing I would have to say is I don't really think it should be called "knit" because, maybe it's just me, but that gave me the impression that it was more like a fabric. I really like it, though I won't use the thong. I will just pair this with a solid black boyshort and lounge around in it.
Overall, I am giving it 5 stars, not because it is perfect, but because there is no other babydoll that would be this nice for $15! This really is a great value item, and it doesn't surprise me at all that it is always out of stock.
