Gray Spotted Dress (XL) Review
This sexy dress is a great item for a hot date, though you might want to wear a pair of tights underneath it. You can also wear this dress as a top with jeans, due to how short it is. I love how comfortable it is and find myself wanting to wear it frequently -- though I wish that it was easier to wear a bra with.

Are you looking for a dress that's sexy without giving away all your secrets? This gorgeous number is sexy without being too revealing. Be aware, however, that this dress will hug each and every one of your curve. That being said, while it will display your curves, this dress is fairly covering (at least as far as dresses purchased here are concerned).
The Basics:
The grey spotted dress is brought to us by Espiral. This is a great multi-purpose dress. It's covering enough that I feel comfortable wearing it on a hot date, or out to the club (as long as I pair it with tights or leggings). While it's also fairly covering, it's also very sexy, making it a great choice to wear if you want to seduce your lover. Yet another way that you can wear this dress is.... as a top! I regularly pair it with leggings, or a nice pair of jeans, in order to make a casual yet sexy outfit.
This dress does not come with any undergarments -- you only get the dress when you purchase this.
Material & Care:
This dress is made out of 65% Polyester, and 35% Viscose.
There is only one layer to this dress, but it doesn't appear sheer when you wear it. That being said, if you stretch it to max, it does become a little sheer. Even at that point, it's only sheer if you're holding it up in front of a bright light. So... I have no problem wearing this in public.
I was surprised at how soft and breathable the material is. It's pleasant to wear, and even after several hours of wearing it in the heat, I feel comfortable.
The fabric does have some stretch to it, so this can fit slightly larger than the size chart recommends. Still, keep in mind that the more you stretch it, the more sheer it becomes.
Now, let's take a moment to talk about the pattern. The pattern is pretty much a grey leopard print. The background is a dark gray, with glitter all over it. The glitter makes the dark grey appear almost silver. The glitter is really stuck on the fabric; it doesn't come off on my hands, or in the wash. The spots are a light gray, and while the light gray spots do have some sparkle to them, they're nowhere near as sparkly as the dark grey spots.
To care for this dress, the symbols on the tag recommend that this is handwashed. Personally, I just put in a lingerie bag, and put it through the washing machine on the gentle cycle (cold). I always hang this to dry. So far this dress has survived my method of washing it.
Sizing:
This dress is available in 4 sizes: small, medium, large, and extra large. I purchased the XL, despite the fact that I normally wear larges in most other brands. When I purchased this, I was really worried that it would be too big, but it seems that Espiral runs a little small as the XL only just fits me. A large would've definitely been too small!
According to Espiral's size chart, an XL should fit someone with a 40" bust, 31" waist, and 40" hips.
I wear a 34d bra, have a 32" waist, and 40" hips. I really wouldn't recommend an XL for anyone larger than me, as it's just going to be too snug to be comfortable (in my opinion).
Length wise, this dress comes to just below my butt, and I am 5'6". For this reason, I usually choose to pair this with a pair of leggings or tights.
Design:
This mini-dress is very sexy in design.
The material hugs your curves, yet somehow the color made it flattering even on my stomach (which is certainly not flat).
The dress is high cut at the top, so you're not going to have any cleavage with this one. Instead, this is a dress to wear if you want to show off your legs.
The back of the dress features an open design, with a thick elastic string weaving through little eyelets. The open back is sexy, but it does make it difficult to wear a bra with this dress. Sadly the dress itself offers no bust support, so not being able to wear a proper bra with it is a little disappointing. That being said, sometimes I will wear a black tanktop underneath it, so that I can wear a bra. The black material of my tank top looks nice through the open back of the dress.
Quality:
I didn't notice a single flaw in the quality of this dress.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
This isn't my favorite dress, but I still like it. I've worn it out as a top with a nice pair of jeans fairly often, and it receives compliments each time. It's a very unique dress... I just wish that it were longer.
