Gorgeous, feminine, and not too cheesy
This polyester/nylon petticoat by Coquette is a wonderfully dramatic piece of lingerie that fits many waistlines and can be worn in many versatile ways. The only downside is that being a one size fits all piece means it won't fit on all figures.

Pros
Gorgeous, inexpensive, can be worn in many different situations
Cons
Won't fit all figures
I am pretty big fan of Coquette's lingerie products. I also have a bit of a taste for old-fashioned lingerie, like petticoats and bloomers. When I saw that EF had a few petticoats, I opted for the black one size by Coquette. Although I am plus sized (US 16), this one sized item has a great amount of stretch to it and can fit many size waists.
The petticoat arrived on a plastic hanger in a bag.
The tag reads that it's made of 80% polyester, 15% nylon, and 5% spandex. Unlike tulle petticoats I wore under dresses as a youngster, this petticoat isn't itchy at all. It's very comfortable and can be worn under clothing or just by itself. It should be noted that the petticoat is very sheer, so just wearing it out in public without solid tights underneath would be very revealing. You could wear this under another skirt to dress it up, or you could wear this with other costume pieces to add some poof and pizzazz, too. The flared waistline look is very pretty and dramatic with this petticoat. This would look great with a bustier or corset. It's also a lot of fun to fluff around, I won't deny that.
My apologies for the less than stellar photo, but this is what it looks like on.
The waistline can go from 26" to 40". I wore this on my hip because when worn my natural waist, it doesn't cover my bottom at all. The skirt itself is made of two layers, one is slightly shorter than the other, but the longer layer is 12 inches long. This is a pretty short petticoat, but it does cover areas you wouldn't want to show off in public.
The tag reads to hand wash it, I would recommend either soapy cold water or lingerie specialty soap. EF does sell lingerie wash, too!
