Gorgeous and super sexy... IF you're a medium or smaller!
The ruffled garter panty is pretty to look at, but unless you're a supermodel, porn star, or ballerina, it'll probably be hard to wear.

Pros
Adorable and sexy design, strong garters
Cons
Non-stretchy material, One size does not fit most
First things first, I've ordered this same pair twice; the first time was close to 5 years ago and they were amazing and super stretchy and fit ANY body size and type. In the past few years, however, they've apparently changed the material that they made these out of. The last pair I purchased (within the last 6 months) is the type that I'm writing about today.
I purchased them elsewhere - and when I received them, I immediately called and explained the situation with the fabric and lace change. I was told by the other store that they'd been changed several years prior and there was no future change planned to their knowledge.
I ended up giving them to a friend (a 5'10" dancer with an amazing body!). Unfortunately, her at a size 10 (TEN) was too wide for the new non-stretchy ruffled garter panty.
Instead of the silky ruched panty with layers of fluffy ruffles like they used to be made, they have changed it to a non-stretchy material with just a few rows of rough lace.
The panty will fit if your body is that of a goddess - so please, feel free to pick these up, because they'll probably look amazing if they fit! If you're even a size large, they're not going to look so great. They may cause a muffin-top look and certainly will stretch the lace out; so instead of having fluffy ruffles, you have several flat horizontal ribbons of lace from hip to hip and from inner thigh to outer hip.
They don't stretch from top to bottom, either; I'm just not thrilled at all with the new design changes. I think it's ridiculous that they changed the way it's made to save a few pennies; when, in reality, they've lost a large section of clientele over it since the "new" version not only doesn't accommodate for many sizes and also isn't offered in plus sizes.
The garters are sewn strong, so they'll hold whatever you need; however, if you have super tight stockings or thigh highs with adornments (like bows, badges, etc), the garter panty may slide and not stay up very well since it's not made of a very stretchy material.
Call me jaded, but the only way these will work for you is if you're shaped like a Barbie Doll; if so, you'll probably love them!

Follow-up commentary
39 months after original review
Leg Avenue has changed the style and make of this panty several times, but since their change to the harder, scratchier, non-stretchy lace, they have not changed anything else except the mesh panty which is now stretchy enough to accommodate bigger butts and tummies, except the lace ribbons won't let it. Sadly, even if the lace they're using were to change at this point, the mesh only stretches one direction or the other, and not both... so it still won't accommodate round bellies and the plus-size pudge.
Sorry Leg Avenue, It's a shame you couldn't live up to your glory days as you slide down that hill and try to make everything as cheaply as possible like the rest of the sellouts. So long, old friend, there are too many others more than willing to take your place and I've found someone new and moved on.

The sizing does sound quite ridiculous.
